jerz...i really cant see what that guy has ever done that has bin so wrong...

Yanks will have 2 rookie starting pitchers against the Red Sox this weekend, which should be interesting
Chase Wright will really jump into the fire with his 2nd major league start taking place at Fenway

Also interesting that Wright used Sean Henn's glove in his debut at the Stadium. Henn couldn't find the strike zone in his first few starts 2 years ago. Good see the Yanks have kept him around, and he's doing better now, even if just as a reliever.

btw, has anyone seen any of the current Yankees when they were in the minors, at either Trenton or Staten Island?

i dont think it's the fact that he has to do something wrong to not be liked in nyc, but the fact that the yankees dropped serious money on a player that he is EXPECTED to preform and naturally if they don't they'll get hated on.

RJ was lucky to have had left so quickly before he'd get the heat from the pinstripe oven.

Posted by phoenixBEBE on Apr-19-2007 15:32:

i think once all the starting pitchers have come off the DL then the Yankees will potentially do some serious damage out there. Has Chien Ming Wang come off the DL yet? Just curious because I know he got on DL earlier in the year...then Mussina, etc.

I think Wang was sposed to come back in late April.

Although its great to see the bats flying. It's about time, Arod. I can let bygones be bygones if he keeps this up consistently.

Actually both teams are doing well, so ill just say GO NEW YORK!!!

Another come-from-behind walk-off A-Bomb from A-Rod!
Redeemed himself for an error earlier in the game
Yanks came back from 4 runs down in the 9th against the Indians, all with 2 outs

WALK IT OFF BABY WALK IT OFF AROD!

boy is on fire, with a grand slam too

A-rod is practically carrying the Yankees right now. I don't understand why Yankee fans are so happy, this isn't going to happen ALL YEAR. They have no starting pitching and will be lucky to take one game in Boston this weekend.

+1 it's too early to assess offenses but the same does not hold true for pitching.

What a dumb ass fucking comment...Our pitchers aint terminally fucking ill for fuck sake,,they will recover,,theyre not gonna die...We dont rely on A Rod the way Boston rely on Ortiz...Our bats are solid throughout the team and when Matsui,,wang and Mussina return Boston will be fighting for third place again.....

lol sort of true. yankees are doing ok considering most of their bats aren't doing well to start the season. once all the bats wake up, forget it, any pitching staff would be worn down. i would definitely be more worried about the yankees pitching because they're getting older. maybe the injuries were a result of the weather, maybe the new trainer, whatever.

seriously, I won't even begin to point out the number of grammatical errors in this post.

When will you realize that strictly OFFENSE will not win you a championship. The Yankees have had majority of the guys in that line-up for the past 3 years and it really hasn't helped them reach the ultimate goal. I understand you're a die-hard Yankees fan but it doesn't take a genius to realize that your staff is decent at best. With all the injuries and question marks, it's almost naive to think your offense will bail you out each time. Any real knowledgeable baseball fan knows this.

Now how about you put some thought into your next post and let's have a real debate...not your typical "YANKEES HAVE WON 26 CHAMPIONSHIPS, REDSOX SUCK" argument and have a little insight.

Posted by trunks1022 on Apr-20-2007 00:14:

the baseball world does not revolve around yankees/red sox.

i'll grammatically smash you in the fucking head tosspot....

My wife is a die hard Red Sox fan and is sat next to me wanting me to tear you a new asshole and you'll be hearing from her later...

Ok lets focus on the fact that Boston have only won the world series twice in 88 years and also the fact that you rarely win the American League East...

Also lets talk about last season when you were 10 games ahead of us and finished 12 games behind and finished third...

Alright I'm done talking to you because you're too stupid to have any type of reasonable conversation with. You sound like another fair-weather fan to me.
