nice to see i stand out.

it was a quip on a picture taken from a site that was posted, and had the link not been removed the reference would not have been lost.

it's a tragedy, yes, i agree with you. however, i would like you to research for me how many children under the age of 10 have been killed in the last month in Iraq and then tell me to pray for a few families down south.

to mix in a serious post.

No one is happy that it happened but this is the cor not a funeral parlor. If you get down to it the media is feeding off this tragedy for ratings and to bring the public all the morbid details that they crave. You think the families of the victims like having their misfortune used as entertainment for the public. If you don't personally know the victims or immediate family then spare us your holy than though chastising. Because you're no better than a rubber necker who slows down while driving by a car crash to get a look.

It was a tragedy, but it could have been avoided if Russia gave Chechnya independence. It would also have helped if Russia hadn't murdered 12,000 Chechens during the First Chechen War.

Actually, I had two friends shot. Thanks for asking, asshole. One is currently fine at the hospital, the other I last heard went into surgery for gun shots to the chest. It seems like you're taking this seriously by pointing out the fact that there are other tragedies just as bad, if not worse. So spare me your fake condolences and just shut the fuck up if you have nothing positive or respectful to say about the event.

Reread my post especially this part

I'm not a mind reader so I didn't know you or your friends were involved.

you're mixing that comment up with another poster because i didn't make that comment. i've never seen you in cor before, so kindly leave if all you have to say to us is to fuck off. cor isn't for serious discussion so go some where else for that.

Asked why the campus, which has more than 26,000 students, was not shut down after the first shooting, Flinchum responded that police determined "it was an isolated event to that building and the decision was made not to cancel classes at that time."

that is fucking ridiculous. completely irresponsible.

yes but at the same time, one news source mentioned the number of parents who'd suddenly show up would cause more problems. Anyway, sad to say that in america, suing seems to happen so often anyway

Posted by erdega on Apr-16-2007 23:34:

the dude who was filming and gave the tape to media was an arab with name like Barghouti . The fact that police refuses to give the identity of the student raises more suspicion that they are hesitant to tell us who it is. They now say it's asian to confuse the issue but to them all muslims are asians .

Asian?!

Posted by Marc Summers on Apr-16-2007 23:39:

What the hell. Asians don't do this kind of stuff. Except for poisoning subways, but that's different.

like i said from the get go the university was trying to keep it underwraps and solve it quietly. that was a serious mistake and lawsuits are the best way to send a wake up call to the university. their mistakes cost lives and they should be held accountable.

I stated this before, and then not 5 minutes after I posted it they announced on the radio that they made a mistake of announcing that he was Asian..like wtf?
