Looks like some other people have spilled the beans before me (see "the end of an era" and "skybar" threads).

It'll be good, I mean the 'first' Guv initially was more rave oriented, dark, muggy looking etc. Then they spruced it up and put more lights all over, under certain floorboards, walls etc, (the red neon kind of lighting), put chrome style metal covers at certain places (from what I remember) and streamlined the whole place. I wonder what it'll look like now, esp w the booth gone.

The use of this phrase is a pet peeve of mine (nothing against you ) so I just have to make a comment. A light-year is a measure of distance and, so, your comment is like saying "Montreal is X amount of kilometres ahead of Toronto"--i.e., it doesn't make sense.

Yes, I am a nerd.

cant it also be used as a measurement of time since you are determining the distance by the speed of light..??

you just answered ur own question...

light year is a unit of length. This lenght being the distance that light travels in one year (julian year) .

a year is a unit of time. However when you say LIGHT year, you are referring to a distance that light can travel in one year.

I figure you are going to see an upscale Guv with bottle service and VIP...that seems to be the trend in Toronto....good by Guv...you once were a good place to party.
