omg I had completely forgotten about that!!
I had a great time. KnA were pretty nasty, but Ronski Speed... WOW!! Also I was finally able to ID a majority of the tracks without having to ask someone. I guess im learning something, huh.
I brought a bunch of my friends from Syracuse, they had a great time as well. After Jay blew him up, my friend Will was convinced he had discovered a new shape, a dodecatetrahyphen. Dont ask me what it was, but i guess jay made one with photon trails. Go fig.
All in all. Maaaad fun. Wai was lookin like she was havin a great time on her b=day, glad i could be there for that. Thanks to Mer for getting me that $6 drink ticket too. Ummm... thats all I got. I'll see ya when i see ya.

| Originally posted by massivenyc I have to say this, people do not understand how difficult it is for an opening dj to both build up and maintain a strong energy on the floor and at the same time not play tracks that the headliner will play and show up the headliner, and on that end Dany Veltri was absolutely fantastic!!! the energy and vibe of the night in no small part is thanx to an amazing opening set by dany who flawlessly rocked the joint till kva and ronski got on. huge thanx to you dany! big thanx to all those who came out to support, ronski and kva totally ripped the place to shreds. huge thanks to ron, Steve, and ralph for a truly amazing night. working already on their return ![]() bring on 2008! |

Re: The Mike confusion...
I talked to Chris earlier (HardCoreRaverRL) and he was like, "I did see Mike there, I know I did." And I said, "No, Mike wasn't there, but BiG MiKE was." And Chris said, no, that he knew who BiG MiKE was. And then Chris said, "no, I know I saw Mike on the stage at one point." And the light when on... I told him that that was Massive Mike, not Frequency Mike. And Chris said, "ah ha! There are too many Mikes"
Confusion ended

dope night all around deff one of the best in 07 without a doubt
got there past 11 so i missed the free entrence but that line was madd long i was in shock
anyway once u get past the velvet rope its a nightmare i didnt know that big tranny thing in the front was in charge of guestlists i get all the way up to the front and about to pay and they were like no guestlist is outside i was like ughhh i go see that thing
got the ticket then i had to wait to pay again then like 5 guys skipped me to get searched cause the line was just dumb horrible managment
but i get inside the club was packed i was like wow theres more people here for these guys then sander and mauro this is dope
i tryed not the drink that much but all the wonderfull girls of tranceaddict kept feeding me drinks and tryin to get me drunk lol
kyau and albert came on and were good i liked there set they played too many vocals for my likeing but overall i enjoyed it i got to hear alot of songs i wanted to hear from them
always a fool
are you fine (lol i was being a idiot during this song)
that sick remix of carte blanche
kisku
velvet morning <3
after that ronski came on and just unleashed like holy shit out of this world set sooo much energy only part i didnt like was the transition to lethal industry to me that song is not really his style but other then that i was blown away
highlight of the night was gettin on stage and requesting him to play
maor levi- shapes (oliver smith remix) alot of people hate this track
but to me its one of my top 10 for the year i was danceing like a madd man i love that song
the rest of his set owned just straight up trance no prog or tech trance just good old melodic stuff some classics also
he is crazy also like he spins like half a track then puts on another one kinda like mash-up but he mixes it well i was impressed
hes a sick lush also he poured half a cup of vodka then the other half orange juice untill it overflowed and just pounded it and made another one lol
another great moment was hearing him drop jump the next train (kyau vs albert remix) man i havent heard that shit since armin dropped it in 04 wow amazing track
also it was a great time on the stage with all the nytas we defffff held shit down i love the big gatherings we get and just chill out deff fun times
overall great night all around happy bday matt and wai
iam gonna go get drunk then go to pacha
everyone have a good new years
I was just fucking around with Mike, but thank you very, very, very much for the kind words. It's EXTREMELY flattering coming from you guys considering just how musically-informed and how into the music you all are.
