They just added Union Jack...Now that is going to be a sicj show...Their first reunion show in 7 years. I remember when those guys headlined with Rabbit at Ultra on the beach... It was beyond amazing...They are finally making the line-up interesting....

Can't wait to see these guys

Damn, not to hate on fans here, but why are they putting indie rock and punk rock in again??? The Bravery, The Veez and Union Jack....This isnt coachella - its an electronic dance music festival!!!

Phase 3 should hopefully have one more big name - great to see a live thing like daft punk or faithless but i doubt it at this point. In that case... above and beyond!!!

I doubt Daft Punk or Faithless, but rumor is there will be another headliner on day 1.. We will have to see though with phase 3.. So far though it looks like a sick time.. Just hoping for no rain this year!

Union jack is Trance, not rock nor Punk...They were actually innovators of trance...

I love the live and rare factor at ultra like the prodigy and now underworld(though dont know them much and from what i heard it put me to sleep but still cool to have them since they are huge and innovators). I mean I love the festival for that one or two sets that are rare to see in the electronic genre. Having the Cure was weak last year as i thought the festival was for EDM. This year its looking top notch. Hope the friday headliner will be a live act - but only if its EDM. A DJ woudnt hurt or djs, but its the live performances that are insane fun and very hard to catch anywhere else in the states.

Also thanks for clearing up the union jack thing. From what i saw on youtube there were many union jacks - hip hop, punk rock, indie, etc.

Ultra removed the phase 2 image. Is this update phase 3? Cant be because it doesnt list local djs and the smaller tents and stages.


Oh, UNION JACK is AMAZING by the way. I searched on youtube for union jack trance and it got the right results. Love this stuff. Its acid trance or what not - similiar to psy but not. This imo should be the live act instead of underworld for the later hour - but thats just imo. Hope this act isnt early in the day. Union Jack with a laser show would be bad ass.

Ultra sent me a message saying the update isnt phase 3. Phase 3 will be the entire list with the locals and what not.

Oh. I saw that they added a few more people so I assumed that was Phase 3..oops?

According to a message from Ultra - that is phase 3. I asked them about the local djs and all the other stages and tents, so waiting on that.

Guess they removed the phase 2 image because this is the last phase for big artists - just not the locals and what not.

yea i believe those few artists were the final phase, so much for daft punk or markus..

You can always buy both and them sell/scalp Day One to someone else. I'm sure there will be plenty of Tiesto fans ready and willing to purchase.

I HIGHLY doubt they will NOT sell individual day tickets. Probably not right now but eventually they'll make choosing day one or day two possible... they'd lose out big time on revenue if they didn't.

selling a ticket that day shoudnt be hard to do. Tons of underaged fans im sure would buy it from ya.

As for not adding one more big name artist for friday - real real weak. Mainstage is awfull that day. The other stages are great not main stage imo - in comparison to saturday and well other stages in general for both days. Hope they made up for it by spending a shit ton on lighting and sound - but woudnt count on it - with one laser last year for mainstage (thing all outdoor stages only had one if any). Tents had better shit going off then outdoor stages.

It's hard to say. You would have to experience it for yourself. Some peeps like it, some don't.

It's a gamble. One thing BAD ASS MUSIC ALL DAY LOOONNGG!!!!

I answered this on a differet page. I would go if festivals are your thing. I am going becuase i love the fact that there is an EDM festival in the states that can somewhat compare to those out of the states (somewhat haha). Festivals are different than clubs. The vibe is completely oppoisite. At a club people go for the dj and for the music soley, while at a festival its the fun of it all, meeting and hanging out with friends, going from one stage to the other, the location, etc. If you have never been to a music festival and EDM is your thing, i would highly recommend going for your first time. Just dont go with expectations - both positive and negative - and you will have the best judgement - your own.

Personally, I love Ultra (Except for the Rain!).. I love to catch up with old friends and meet new people.. Plus, I like the festival atmosphere where you can sample different sounds.. I don't think alot the artist would be in Miami if it wasn't for Ultra..

Update on Ultra: There will be a main flyer coming out soon that will have every artist - the online list doesnt list locals and what not. Not sure if the main flyer will have stage location - but it def wont show timeslots(thats avaiable at the event). Also, Ultra has said this is phase 3 already so dont expect anything new from the main list, just a total list of locals and local djs out of miami - showing the entire stage list.

But damn... woudnt it be sweet though if they snuck in one more name haha. Ahh, oh well.

- OH, and as for dvds, they might have them at the festival to purchase. It is either going to be the one from 2 years ago, or a mix of the one from 2 years ago and from last year - but this isnt official yet. There might not be a dvd at all. But if they will, it will be for purchase (wich is BS since technically we can sue as the ticket from 2 years ago said the event will be filmed and last years ticket says you get the dvd from the year before).
