It's sunny, I have money, I just graduated on the Dean's Honours List from an 8-year program that I finished in 4 years, I love my whacked job as a tool girl (even though I always fuck up when assembling bicyles), I got into my dream program at York with a scholarship, I just got a contract position with Discovery Language, I'm moving to Toronto at the end of the summer, I fit into last year's bikini, I quit smoking, I'm going out tonight and I have the whole weekend off

I've been listening to Lola's Theme all morning and doing things around the house dancing around like a moron

WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had the best day possible today. So much excitement today that I have felt like I am going to burst all day long.
I have had a rough 6 months and things are finally looking up for me. I love my job and I love my life and there is only more goodness to come.

there's defiantly a lack of negativity in this thread. in my opinion, if you wake up thinking 'everything is perfect', you are either on some fucking great drugs or you have some unusual chemical imbalance.

i for one wake up thinking "jesus effing christ, it's 1PM already???? and now i have to goto work and do shit that i don't want to do, for some assholes that i don't give a flying fuck about, just so i can pay my stupid bills and eat a couple meals today."

happiness is just a neurochemical reaction to make life tolerable.

I am having a great weekend too. The sun is peeking through, birds are chirping, my apartment reno is coming along nicely, my coffee is brewed perfectly and I'm seeing a ton of ppl this weekend that I haven't seen in a very long time. Here is my update: Everything is still great never been happier. Even with the stress of moving and throwing out my back life has never been been better because my g.f can help me get through anything. I can't wait to start my job Rogers at the end of the month and i see things getting better and better as time goes on. This has probably been the best year of my entire life.

i concur. (except change that to b.f. for my part) we get a little crazy sometimes but still love each other to pieces.. things always have a way of working out.
