Trance Energy is globally renowned as the worlds leading trance event with some 30,000 punters making the annual pilgrimage from the four corners of the planet to experience the unique majesty of Trance Energy in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht, Holland. After ten years at the top of the European dance scene, the Trance Energy concept is finally about to conquer the world!

As with all ID&T events and festivals, Trance Energy is as much about quality music and ground-breaking artists as it is about the spectacle; epic set pieces and jaw dropping productions never before seen in Australia. Heading around the country with the Trance Energy travelling roadshow is a veritable whos who of the global progressive and trance scenes with a carefully selected cast of artists and performers- a handsome mix of long time crowd favourites, new school idols and the cream of Australias home grown talent.

PREPARE TO DANCE!
Representing the mixing duties on Disc 1 is Sean Tyas. A New York native now residing in Switzerland, Sean has been one of THE buzz names in trance circles this past year with a new entry in the Top 100 DJ poll at 54. This is a carefully crafted upfront mix including a string of his own productions such as Rule Book, Seven Weeks and Melbourne.

Disc 2 is the trance man of the moment, Simon Patterson, formerly one half of the legendary production duo, Dogzilla. A regular in Ibiza, all across Europe and named as Mixmags man to watch Simons mix includes huge tracks such as his #1 chart topping monster, Thump, Matt Zos Lucky Strike and appearances by J.O.C, Aly & Fila and Push.

On the local front is up and coming Melbourne DJ/Producer Trent McDermott with the 3rd and final disc to round out the package. Some pure classics from the past 12 months in International trance including an exclusive peak at the Trance Energy Anthem remixed by Australias #1 DJ, tyDi and Trent himself.

39 tracks across the 3 Cds including tracks and remixes by

Sander Van Doorn, Ferry Corsten, Maarten De Jong, Cosmic Gate, Inpetto, Martin Roth, Stoneface & Terminal, Aly & Fila, Matt Zo, Ronski Speed, Push, Sam Sharp, Marcus Schossow and many more!

News:

All internationals will be done by 10pm. Set times will be more spaced out the concentration of huge name performances will be around the middle of the event, not the end.

Posted by Trance Nutter on Mar-31-2009 11:14:

doesn't the event finish at 11?
kinda weird they don't have at least 1 big name closing off.

Its due to the fact that public transport finishes early, and they want to ensure that those catching a train wont miss any international acts.

makes sense really. and tydi will still be great - with his new album coming out and a heap more fresh production / remixes.

Damn, I hope the side stages are still going too
If Anthony Pappa closes Progression, happy days for me. Or does he count as an international?

Suppose it makes sense, at least the crowds for taxi's should thin out a bit by close then too

Posted by DJ Marak on Mar-31-2009 13:07:

there will be something like 30 something buses, a 6 car train running, and 500 or so taxis running around the joint.

Jolz, I've got info for you that you will need to know because of the limo you guys are getting.

the set list is pretty damn awesome, only 1 clash which im quite sad about

but yeah the event finishes at 11

still tickets to go around people if needed you know the story, $110 a piece, 10 or more tickets go for $105

we only got a 20 second glimpse at the set times...and i don't have photographic memory :P

in that 20 seconds i tried to memorise the mainstage order, and look for clashes. i thought i did alright

Posted by DJ Marak on Apr-01-2009 01:14:

i guess it cant hurt.... but Simon Patterson and Leon Bolier clash :S n Leon isn't on main stange

that was my only upset to the line up... the info will be up in a few days any ways, you will all know soon enough
