The Habs would be idiots if they picked him up, they chemistry they got right now with that team should not be touched. Whatever they are doing is working.

My friend and I were talking about Chicago and Pittsburgh possibly making a move for him cause they have very deep farm systems.

Posted by Vlad on Oct-24-2008 12:54:

Toronto actually got the win, unbelievable... they rallied after being down 2-0 to win 4-2.

Posted by Vlad on Oct-24-2008 13:45:

I hope the Thrashers move to Winnipeg, that city deserves to have a team back in there. They will appreciate it ALOT more then any other city in the US that it could move to. I think the ONLY city in the US that could appreciate hockey because of its location is Seattle. Otherwise... it will blow.

and we have not even played a game with our full roster yet...

Buffalo really is surprising this year, Miller is standing on his head and Vanek is playing like he was supposed to. Good for their fans, they have had to put up with so much shit from ownership the last few years.

Also Quebec City > Winnipeg

bigger market, better market, habs vs nordiques rivalry was amazing.

Tomorrows gonna be a great day for hockey

6 2

#71 2+2, #87 1+4.

With that said, Habs are going to destroy the ducks tomorrow. Good times.

Posted by elFreak on Oct-24-2008 20:04:

halak will be getting his second start in a row due to carey price having the flu.

They practiced with the goalie of the canadian womens team, nice gesture and very cool that they would let her live this dream.

chris higgins should be back and laraque will deffo be busy with the ducks.

Posted by bamski on Oct-24-2008 20:13:

Have you heard an old soft rock tune called Terry Ball - Let's Play Hockey?

It's my teams signature song and the most beautiful/emotional/nostalgic track ever.

One of the reasons I thought you might know is that it also has a French version, wouldn't surprize me the least if it originated from your hood.

I'm not a 100& that that's the artist, there's no info about it that I can find.

Here's a cheap version of it, sung by some idiot who can't even pronounce. Replace the word IFK with Canada and thats exactly the same track... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExEb...feature=related

nope halak.

he has not lost yet, and actually has better numbers than price in his 2 games.

price is the man, but we have the best goalie duo in the league imo.

halak has not allowed more than 1 goal in a game yet and has a 1.01 gaa and a .967 save %.

chris higgins is back too.

go habs go.

Posted by Vlad on Oct-25-2008 21:09:

I have Price as one of my goalies in my fantasy league, I dont care about all that other stuff.

I have Tanguay and Markov too, theyll sink their teeth into some nice juicy duck.

Posted by elFreak on Oct-25-2008 21:10:

markov already has 9 points and a great plus minus.

tanguay is the reason koivu is doing so well.

price had the flu, is better...but he lost a few pounds and they want to give him some rest for the upcoming road trip. Makes sense to me.

Posted by Vlad on Oct-25-2008 21:17:

Markov is getting his first goal tonight... its about time.

Posted by elFreak on Oct-25-2008 21:20:

he has always been a play maker with great defensive skills...he has never been a prolific goal scorer.

Posted by Vlad on Oct-25-2008 21:31:

Regardless, hes due for a goal after 9 assists and scoring atleast 1 point in every game thus far.

crosby and his fag kru just got raped hard.

rangers for stanley 09

Posted by L.E.N. on Oct-26-2008 01:52:

FUckin sad game. I was bouncing back and fourth to the habs game. Of all teams...the ducks.

Posted by elFreak on Oct-26-2008 02:01:

meh..i left early.

when halak gave up 4 goals on 12 shots it was a sign that this was the one we were going to lose. The defense should have played better, but he should have had 2 of those goals easy. Giguere is the reason they won. We had 50 shots on goal, it just was not meant to be, and even though we lost i can see a lot of positives in this game. Namely Chris Higgins playing a solid 1st game back.

We were bound to lose one, i am just glad it was in a way that will motivate us, and not kill morale too much. I was so pissed i decided to skip the ufc. It could be worse, we could be Ottawa lol. We had 3 regulars out tonight, i'm not worried.

Posted by elFreak on Oct-26-2008 02:05:

I will stake 100$ via paypal with you sean that the rangers get eliminated in the 1st round.
