well, Joris Voorn has a date for "DEMF, DETROIT, USA" on his tour schedule... but it's listed as the 30th, which is the weekend after DEMF.

he was there last year. i don't remember seeing him, but apparently i was there for 45 min of his set and it was awesome.

I'm seeing him Saturday. I guess you can call it minimal since he isn't doing hard techno, but he plays a lot of different stuff in his sets some minimal, some tech house, and some techno.

I totally remember that set the most because it was the only song I could ID that whole weekend haha. (not a techno ID'er gal)

Robert Babicz - Dark Flower (Joris Voorn Magnolia Mix) *such a ridiculous-fuking-awesome song!! I remember it was like is 3rd or 4th song in*

And Joris "live" set was AMAZZING!! I dig an all Joris set. Much much better than when I saw him @ Cielo opening ofr Liebing. It was sooo boring. So hard to go right before someone like Chris and play as an opener too.

HYPE HYPE!

That track was fkin amazing when Joris dropped it at DEMF, but then every DJ played it out for the rest of 2008.. Still a good track..
