but really.. this is sort of how i feel about having to do the italo mix.. come on.. really how many of you are really that interested in me doing an italo set?

Raises hand. Italo is one of the greatest genres ever.
And I even want to hear the Gabber mix by Kr00t0n. Talk about a strange taste...

Grabbing, Nik. Looks reasonable.

Ooohh! Another one!

And for the record, I raise my hand as well for the Italo set

Posted by Seppuku on Mar-11-2009 22:06:

Wow, I don't know where I am going to find the time to listen to all these. kind of wish I would have gotten in on it now!

Posted by Ted Promo on Mar-11-2009 22:12:

And that progtrance mix looks nice. In.

Posted by Ted Promo on Mar-11-2009 22:13:

Also, maybe you should update the first post with links/tracklists to the mixes as opposed to just bolding the name of the people who are done

Although I probably won't actually download all the mixes due to not being fucked I think the only genres I don't actually like there is probably indie dance (indie rock is bad enough ) although I guess disco could be ok and probably french house. This could certainly be interesting anyway.

I think thats way too much hassle, also, who the fuck is gonna judge dark gabber, or happy hardcore?

I'll probably end up downloading both actually. Although theres a very high chance both will be crap, at least if they're good they'll be different to what I usually listen to...

Suggestion: How about making a cd cover for this challenge, or is it too much. I can do it but im not a pro with the visual software handling.

another suggestion. how about the people who suggested a genre then have to do a mix of it & people get to vote who did the best, the one who picked it or the one who had to do it ?

Interesting suggestion. But I think people won't like that it doubles their work. Let's hear what others think.

Great. Do it!

Also, does anyone know DJM104D? I haven't heard from him, and my PM wasn't delivered yet. So either he didn't even want to enter or isn't online for some reason. It'd be sad to miss that happy hardcore mix.

Posted by Ted Promo on Mar-12-2009 11:04:

I'll just remix some Iron & Wine tracks with a hardcore beat and call it a day.

Posted by djkopernikus on Mar-12-2009 12:21:

Ok, i can try to make the cover, but is there any good sized TA logos out there?

Posted by [N]k|[Z] on Mar-12-2009 12:40:

i tried to do my mix last night but got half way through and had to abandon it due to something cropping up might try and do it again tonight

allright, thanks! Was nice to do this genre. I think Dove Beat fits in this mix though.. u sure you don't mean the third track? it's more proggy house..

Looking forward to your chill-out mix

Posted by wotyzoid on Mar-12-2009 15:41:

Mine is done, I'll up it this weekend.

Posted by Ivand on Mar-12-2009 16:21:

i was thinking about this, and i think is kinda awesome in another whole level.

think about it, we are going to mix a genre than most of us arent familiar with BUT we are gonna do it with somewhat unadultered ears, im gonna mix dnb(!), but im gonna mix what dnb is to me, the tracks I think are part of the genre.

i think this is good

Here is the plain simple cover:
