All I am trying to say is most people really shouldnt have kids for one reason or another (financial concerns, bieng lazy, selfishness). Just look at some of the responses in this thread. I am clearly not cut out at all to be a parent. You might be, good for you. Ill repeat what I said in my first post I think most people should not have kids. myself included. |

Choose your answers wisely. By the way, I could care less about your answers (the reason being that I do care about this enough to see how lulzy this is going to turn out to be), but you should be warned that, no matter what you say, you're Trisha. Have a nice evening |
yeah, but when i get really old.

there's a lot of bullshit in this thread. i understand some people choose not to have children because of their career or they like to spend their life traveling ect. but not because kids are brats that shit themselves and have public temper tantrums. that cannot be the only reasons you do not want to have a kid. I don't know what kind of kids some of you idiots have been watching but if you actually raise your child with respect, disapline, consistancy and a shit load of love, they actually turn out pretty decent. It doesn't take rocket science to do this. I have seen some horrific parents, and some pretty ridiculous children as a result, but for every fucked up family i know 10 families that were able to parent and raise their kids sucessfully.
yukki it sounds like your big fear of children is you're afraid they will turn out like you. and i suppose that is legitimate.
i used to say i never wanted kids, then a few things happened this year that changed my mind...
1) my closest girlfriend got knocked up
2) i held and fed an infant for the first time in my adult life (this totally blew my mind and i had warm fuzzies for about 4 days afterwards)
3) i realized i'm almost 26 and i am thinking more seriously/realistically about things like marriage and babies
so yeah, i'm not in any hurry. i probably won't want kids until after i'm 30, but i do know for a fact that i want them... as long as i can find a guy who i would actually consider reproducing with.
