Has anybody tried to contact Space about the two ticket idea, to see if they would be prepared with wristbands that night. Even if they said yes, I'd still be nervous the night of, but some kind of info would be helpful. I suspect that they are waiting to come out with a combo pass after another price increase, or after more FU bands get sold. Or maybe they aren't going to do it at all this year just so they can rape people early morning at the door for the terrace.

I emailed Space about Friday a few days ago, and still haven't heard back. I inquired as to whether they were coming out with combo tix like last year, and I also asked them specifically what would happen if a person showed up with both tickets. It's looking more and more like things will be like they were a couple years ago on Friday night, when Sander K was upstairs. They just block the stairwell and, when the main room closes, they only let up people as capacity allows.

I'm going mainly for Giuseppe. It will also be nice to see if PVD will be motivated by the hard stuff of SVD, if SVD is before him.

And I think Toolroom + Stereo + Drumcode = a pretty good lineup upstairs.

I got my ticket to both and will deal with their bs when I get there.

I am one of the few who hates sander. but might still go for space in general and GO live. PVD has been playing the same set for a while now. Not sure what it will be like there though. But if its minimal tech trance like sander ill pass right away.

I know many of you say you want PVD to be like sander there. I just want a hard PVD set - not many vocals, not much minimal tech trance. Just top notch PVD when he is at his best.

Surprise surprise, self proclaimed SVD whore Pat Mcgroin isn't attending this event so to make himself feel better about it he'll knock it at every given opportunity. At least we don't have to worry about tiresome post wmc threads with 100 close up photos of svd, or 100 + videos of every track he played complete with full tracklist from the id geek.

Instead it will be countless threads about how Simon Patterson threw down the most insane set ever to a half empty room in Nocturnal, or how Schulz made him cry when he dropped Big Sky and all 40 people in the club raised their glow sticks as 1.

for the record though.. i am not attending this event for two reasons. one is that pvd was garbage the last two times i saw him. and the second is that i will be coming from ultra. i would like to change, therefore who knows what time im going to be back in downtown. im not paying $70 + whatever else they are charging at the door if i dont get there before 2am to possibly miss sander in case he opens and be stuck catching only pvd and go. thats not exactly wise.

i also find it hilarious that you talk shit about the noc night here saying its going to be half empty but in the noc thread you said "it should be a good night." bi-polar much?

That is a horrible set...if SvD plays that weak ass shit...I'm glad I'm not going to Space. Because I know PvD is going to suck. Hopefully GO drops an epic set to give you guys looking for a good night, some satisfaction.

well it should be stated for the record that it is a festival set and sander always does way better in the club atmosphere. in addition to this the set is also horrible quality. low quality, some weird buzzing, technical difficulties at the end so the end didnt even get recorded, horrible voice-overs, and possibly the worlds worst mc.

but what really surprised me was sanders mixing. ive NEVER heard him mix that bad. all he would do was throw some effects over the transition so you couldnt tell that it wasnt even beatmatched. horrible. i really think he was drunk. had to have been. cuz sander can actually mix quite well. but my god that set was nothing short of horrid.

SvD's and PvD's track lists the last 6 months or so have looked really unappealing to me. I guess I should point out, that's what I mean. This latest set list is at an all time low though.

has anyone noticed that on wantickets, Saturdays show now says All room access for the ticket. For Friday it says Main room access only.

Somewhat off topic yet still in here for BS reasons: To those going to Nocturnal - have an awesome time and hope for a solid turnout. For those going to this, turnout will be there but hope for good sets.

Now back to topic - I am not a sander fan and that set posted is awful. PVD has been doing the same set for 2 years now - hope he changes it up there for those going. GO Live is the main reason I see people going to this plus the venue. And funny thing about it is Space says it doesnt do well with main room trance nights. Yea.... thats why PVD is there twice right?
