Got myself the Samsung Galaxy Spica last weekend with Android on it, absolutely love it!

Looking good! I still went for the HTC Desire. Could have gone with either one though.

edit: damn, read some very extended reviews, and since the delivery time on the Desire is 10-14 days, I think I'll give customer service a call to cancel the Desire and send me the Galaxy S.. it's even better!

The Desire has a chance to be better if you get the SLCD based one.

Yeah I'm def gonna get the Galaxy S. Comes out this week..but there's a contest to win one from my provider. Hopefully I win!

I've had two Samsungs for the last 4 years, and I'm very satisfied with those. I guess preferring the Galaxy S now is making me somewhat of a convenience shopper

Shazam, App Brain (you create an account on appbrain.com and it allows you to sync apps so that you can always have the same apps after a total wipe), Total Backup, CyanogenMod (coming soon, if not already)...hmm that is all I can think of.

Nah it isn't more expensive, nor is it something you have to wait for. HTC has already started putting them in the Desire due to the shortage of SAMOLED displays.

Got one of these for my gf, very good budget Android phone.

Annoyingly difficult to flash to 2.2 though, spent a day trying and never succeeded

I'm still with my HD2, dual-booting a custom WinMo 6.5 ROM and a custom Froyo ROM.

Contract isn't finished til March, and by then I hope to know more about the awesome sounding HTC Glacier

My first iphone and it's fucking great. I've tried friend's phones, nexus one, various htc, etc and none of them feels as polished and have as good screen. They crash and are unstable and what not. My feels rock solid. What antenna problem?

I pay about $8 a month and I get 2GB data traffic (after that it is slowed down). The calls/messages cost about 2 cent each and I don't call/message that much.

Android on the HD2 is MUCH more usable than on my Touch Pro2. There is no external sound (ringtones, alarms, the like) because of some issues, no bt, and 3d is borked too. So yeah, shitty really. And the TP2 has freezing issues up the ass with pretty much every rom I have used.

Nope. Copy shit onto your sdcard, make sure a config file is set correctly, execute an exe and it boots linux and then Android.

Yeah they are basically the same price here. Although, I was looking at the plans on Telia, and they have some shitty data plans. And I talk to much for your cheapest voice plan.

Yeah, they have gotten a lot further since then. Bastards. Still a lot of work to be done with my shit. Oh well. Getting a new phone in a few weeks anyway.
