That's right. A few TAs don't get their favorite DJs, so everyone gotta stop caring about B&B.

Not everyone, just the few people who post here regularly. Others who do care for it are welcome join in and share how they feel.

I have friends coming from Alberta/BC just for the trance room... they're happy to see new djs being booked in canada instead of the same cycle of talent...

I'ma gonna head to Stereo for Mark Farina is my opinion. As for the complaints, it's pretty clear that the people who post on the montreal forum regularly are clearly house heads, not many real trance fans like if you were to check out the toronto forum for example.. nothing wrong with that either.

either way, they are going to most likely cart out another aging dj that has played this city more often than the expos.

Bottom line: We are spoiled as shit in Montreal.. Thousands and thousands of people would be jealous of our massive parties and EDM scene in general, but as is in our human nature, we're never happy with what we have.

The problem is that there are not massive that actually have house music anymore. Wouldn't you be pissed if your musical taste were not represented at all ? The problem is not trance, the problem is the lack of something else than trance. and NO I do not think David Guetta or Yuckie is house, that's like saying Edward Maya is Trance !

For the sake of money? What other sake should it be for? It's show business, and without the business, there is no show. Last year's numbers were far below expected even though many were pleased with the lineup. You can hypothesize as to what caused people not to attend, but you can't blame the organizers for trying to keep the event profitable.

I think that's reading a bit of negativity into it, although obviously they did drop the ball on the house bookings.

One thing's for sure, it will be interesting to see how their decision to change up the event plays out. It's just sad that this happened on the 20th anniversary event imo.

i find they made an error last year booking sasha and digweed... not worth it. but only my opinion here...

i'd book dave seaman again if it was my call. but i guess they'll find another big name to try to please you.

edit: i'm talking about the house room here. trance room is perfect and the trance crowd is hyped as hell and will show up in large numbers. So will the gay crowd for house room.
