A few things that I feel need to be commented on:
Vinyl Cutter .... doesn't really sound like that good of an idea to me, it is actually cheaper to press the records the old-fashioned way ... I think there's a company somewhere in Cali that does mastering and pressings in small series for really cheap, I think it is around $500 - 600 for 100 copies with sleeves (and maybe even a label, I'd have to check on this). I'll post the address later today since I'm away from my comp and I don't have it memorized.
Well, I guess DJ-wise I'd be happy to supply the skills on the wheels of steel 
... and also I'm experimenting with Reason a little so we'll see if anything respectable comes out.

i think hiring a cutter or gettin it done at a studio is more viable...
and its even cheaper in the UK..

!! Why i didn't think of this before is beyond me. My cousin works as a hip hop producer and have access to lots of equipment. He is also a former dj, so i'm sure he has some vinyl cutting contacts. I know quite a lot of people from the hip hop scene in my town. And of course they to have to make their music, so i can ask around.

holy muther of god, this is the tightest idea I have ever heard of. www.tranceaddict.com has blown up since I first started joining this website. This is the best idea I have ever heard of. But its going to take alot of time. Best of luck!

hmmm not unless we have to..
if we use mp3.com artists they're gonna wanna some $$$. they don't want this label as much as we do. besides, it will make us look desperate (well i guess we are anyway)...

heheh...we aren't desperate...are we? we got lotsa talented individuals right here like yourself robert. i heard alienfactory's new track that he produced and it's good!! also...da_myndless_one's stuff is good too. along with goldenarmz + tu_face and there's tons more...
and theres lots of people who will help!
may not be able to produce but ill sure as hell spread the word and put up billboards and spray paint the town for you guys
plus alot of us spin too and that could open up some other options

Wow I dont know how I possibly missed this thread either! But after finally reading all 15 pages I agree I am definately in too. Whatever it takes, I dont have too many skills, I spin a little but am not too good. I could put in any amount of little work though and could chip in some funds. Whatever is needed just give me a holler.
