Thanks for the offer, Mel. I will definitely take you up on that offer when I finally get around to New York

I cooked myself two Morningstar burgers for lunch when I woke up today. Delicious!

But unconventional, organic pesticides are fine, because they kill bugs much more gently.

Well duh.

im sure most vegans would agree that bugs are evil and deserve to die. They would show you absolutely no mercy if you were half their size.

I agree with everything SYSTEM_J said.

Anyone who genuinely thinks that eating meat is wrong is clearly suffering from being fucking stupid. One can make a choice to omit meat from one's diet based on a number of factors ranging from medical through ethical to simply not liking sausages much. However, to outright claim eating meat is wrong/lazy/selfish and is in some way contrary to the balance of nature is just spastic.. We've merrily done it for millions of years, our bodies are designed to process meat, it contains necessary proteins that are difficult to assimilate through other sources.

I don't understand how it's selfish or lazy to kill animals for food, these animals are bred for food, plus we own them, plus they're tasty, plus we'd kill them through industrialisation anyway.

I think the correct question to consider, would be, "Is not eating meat wrong?"

Probably brought on by a lack of meat in their diet.

Not true humans lack many enzymes and acids that carnivores animals do , in order to have a proper degradation of animal protein such as meat .

Also Our teeth resemble more, the teeth of an animal that eats veggies. Incisors are not only just cut , but just the same as the canines their major job is to guide our occlusion through a proprioceptive system + they are not nearly as sharp as the teeth of a carnivore animal.

If animals didn't want me to eat them, they would have evolved to taste bad.

Don't play stupid with us here. Obviously we are in the intermediary stage between herbivore and carnivore. a study was done by national geographic recently that showed the reason why our wisdom teeth become tight in the jaw is due to jaw attrophy, which in turn is indicatory of carnivora traits. Carnivores have smaller jaws relative to herbivores due to the unecessary need for large muscle attachments there for chewing. Unecessary traits usually dwindle over time, as is the process of evolution.

This is one of dozens of cases for humans geared towards being carnivores. Agreed that we were once purely herbivores, but the past million or so years, we have been hunting and gathering meat, and essentially, the high density nutrients in meats gave us the energy required and free time required to evolve our minds.

So you better not write one more thing or screw with my computer again, you'll be arrested, end of conversation, from her father!

oooh and my fav veggie burgers Morningstar Farms Grillers use egg as a binder and I'm convinced its that small ingredient addition that makes them taste much better than other vag. burgers on the market.

errr. our diet has become softer therefore humans don't need as many teeth as before. Many thousands of years ago we even had a 4th molar and due to our change in terms of "consistency" in our diet, the 4th molar disappeared , same thing is happening with the 3rd molar ( wisdom tooth) which is now considered a rudimentary organ .

Again our mind evolved because of the intake of essential fatty acids ( omega 3 and omega 6 ) that are all found in nuts , seeds , flowers etc .

btw that national geographic bullshit did you just made it up ? you should post the source or else consequences will never be same .
