I think he might have the best technical production in techno when it comes to club tracks. I very rarely pull the 'you'll have to hear it in the club!' card but a Dettmann track only fully makes sense when you've heard it on a system. With most tracks I don't really change my mind after hearing them on a system but with a Dettmann track it's like night and day. |
Nothing on Resident Advisor that was rated 4.5, album or single, deserved that rating.

No, it is all bad and Sasha is still amazing.

| [i][b]Originally posted by Woony Out of hundreds of reviews with a 4,5 score, a lot of stone cold classics, absolutely nothing is actually good? Unless you hate everything that RA covers (and even then) that's quite an absurd statement to make. A few years back I went through the RA review archives, focussing mostly on reviews with a 4,5-5 and I found a tremendous amount of great music. |

Why bother with this?
No idea. Why bother with posting here in any capacity, period?
Some discussions are enlightening and entertaining. And then there's Nostalgic, still moaning about RA after six years.
I knowwww, but I'm never really in on those enlightening and entertaining threads. This is way easier.
I hope Zharen isn't here to read this, but real progressive house died in 1995
