I'd be willing to listen to anything Cox is going to play. The man has been around for ever, and has played pretty much everything. Like a true old school DJ, he knows how to jump between genres.

Saying that you don't want him to play anything else, is completely over looking his ability as a top level DJ to read a crowd, and play accordingly.

So excited to party in a fresh space! I hope these become a semi-regular occurrence!

Your so missing the point! Yes over the span of 20 years Cox has played everything. Even hip hop. Does that mean we wanna hear him play hip hop? No! We wanna hear him play what he is well know for.. TECHNO! A genre which sneak does not touch! And the last thing that would sound good is a flip flop set from sneaks CURRENT sound to Coxys CURRENT sound. What word did I use before? Oh ya stupid, precisely.

Save the complaining for the review after the event, IF it sucks...

based on recent sets and Cox @ Stereo, I expect some techno goodness from him. Hopefully he plays Moudaber's tracks too

Im not worried about Cox not delivering, the guy knows how to throw a party I just hope we dont get the cheese part !

The legenday Carl Cox swoops into Detroit for a rare appearance. He hasnt been here since he leveled the festival with his performance at the 2009 Movement festival! Thunder - the same company that does the sound for both the festival and our closing parties at Elysium, will be installing a powerful rig ready to make your bones shake!

If you somehow, some way do not know who Carl Cox is, here is his latest bio. It's from 2009 so it's a bit dated, but his career is so epic it still has tons of value.

Agreed- first hour was boring. EZ was much better, and his Space sets. He's better when he goes all out for 3 hours.

One thing you gotta love though, Carl Cox can record 5 sets in a row, and none of them will be alike.

Posted by Wenddy on Nov-07-2011 18:16:

He was awesome in Miami this past Saturday, I'll let you know how his Orlando show is!

Yup. And with a DJ like him, setting has a lot to do with what he plays. So if people in Detroit liked his set, but you listening at home did not, then the atmosphere may be the missing link.

5 tix bought. this is gonna be sick
