Sorry, it was the only thing I could thing of to yell in this battle.
Quote from into to TV show 'Six Million Dollar Man':
We can rebuild him...we have the technology...we can make him better than he was.
Better.
Stronger.
Faster.
Sorry, adding some lite humor to this thread.
TIESTO IS OUR LORD.........haters of tiesto are Athiests of trance.

Magik 2 is what I'm thinking. Prove me wrong sucka! |

why the hell do the mods let these stupid ass threads go on? this one should have been closed after the 1st post, because these " bash this dj, bash that dj" threads always become little lame post wars between a few lame individuals who have nothing better to do with there time. its old and ridiculous.
innit, but so much fun to watch & see that people genuinely do get wound up about it

its fucking ridiculous and a waste of space and time. or so i believe, but why am i even posting in this thread? ahhh! its infecting me too.. i must leave now.
ps: i saw tiesto a couple months ago, he is god, if you know anything about trance, you would realize that also, and stop whining for christsake and be happy that there are people like him to promote the scene in a good way you little ingrates.

please stop agreeing with me its making me feel odd!
Well, I heard Tiesto at Amnesia last thursday, and it was FUCKIN' AWESOME !! I enjoyed every minute of it.
Now you may think that my opinion is not credible, but I've been listening to trance for 3 years now, and so I can distinguish between shit and great set.
Of course if you download 50 sets by Tiesto in 2 months period it will all be the same. But I haven't heard a new Tiesto set for like 2 months now, so his set was 50% fresh to me.
Unlike Armin(heard Armin live 4 times) and Ferry(heard him twice) who usually just put a bunch of amazing trance tracks together, there is actually a flow to Tiesto's set. You can't really understand it while listening to it on MP3. It has to be experienced live. That's what I love about Tiesto. When you hear him live, it's absolutely phenomenal !
Stop dissing Tiesto. Go hear him live(once every couple of months) !
look at his album.. every track has or has the potential to make a full release.. cant say that about 'out of the blue' or 'airdrawndagger' or many other albums come to thin of it... his DJing sucks IMO, but his producing is top notch.. why does he get asked to do so many remixes?!?

Did I ever say your opinion is NOT credible !
It's just that many people on this board don't give credit to other people's opinions.

no, i was just testing you out
heh so much flaming. Ive been listening to trance since 1995, I can say Tiesto was amazing back in 1999, now plain and simple: Its boring. For me Is boring, too much progressive! he spins some good tunes on and off but his transitions, selections are plain boredome.
So, i can say PVD is my mastah, you all know why.
I would like tiesto start spinning like he did back in the old days.
Tiesto is amazing and will never cease to astonish us with his new sounds.
Why were there threads few months back with " Tiesto is God".....?
Like all religions, Music for one is also mingled with the areas of religions.
Witnessing Tiesto live is no different that those who travelled long distances to witness the Pope.
People convert to other genres while others remain tranceaddicts. Just like how the genres of Christianity, Catholicism...and what-not...
Muzik, like religion, has many sub-genres. Progressive, breaks, funk, hip-hop, NSYNC-kind-tunes......and so on.
My point is: If Tiesto were a God to so many of you months ago when In My Memory first came out...and serving the delicious new sounds to you. After which...you claim to have heard about Tiesto playing a few ranges of Progressive and you "judged him" as being sucky now.
My point: If you belong to those weak breeding and think that you've heard it all and feel that Tiesto still suck, well....kudos to you. The next time you secretly download Tiesto's new tunes, have some conscience....Christ! Think about what you have said and planning on saying.
Word is a powerful too! If Tiesto were to be lurking around these forums...which I think he does. How would you think he would feel? I am no trying to back his diety ass over here....but before you start a criticism, make sure you have points to back your "tiesto sucks" attitude and not just on your ear wax.
All I can say is that Tiesto churns out record-selling tunes and has been doing till now...
Moby - Extreme Ways (DJ Tiesto Remix) ---> Compared this to his other remixes....do you find anything similar? Maybe the cymbals and small sounds....Tiesto innovates and that I've taken an interest in his productions since I saw him live in March 99.
Tiesto's a man who has been spinning since he was 14 years old. What experience do you have, be it your EAR WAX or spinning, or producing to judge his role in the dance community?
Shame on you.

DJ sets
I think is very natural that most DJ's spin some songs for several months. I think pretty much everyone does it. Let's say you have a setlist of say 20 songs. You don't wake up one day & say "today I'm making a brand new setlist". When a cool net tune comes along, you take one of the tracks from your setlist out & put the new one in it's place. So it's fairly reasonable that in 4-5 months u might not have changed your whole setlist. Some tunes will still be there, whether they're the ones you like the most or the ones the crowd likes the most or whatever. I must say Tijs is getting a little bit progressive as of late & I have mixed feelings about seeing him spin in 2 days. I'm pretty sure it will be a great set, but I have a feeling it won't be bangin' anthem filled super-party that I would like to see. But heck PvD is playing here in 9 days so that should make up for it
i couldnt be bothered to read this entire thread
tiesto does not suck, he is COMMERCIAL, just like pvd and oakenfold
they do what they do for the money, and have become famous worldwide because of it.
i cant believe you people think that these dj's are the best there is.
Don't you people have anything better to do than complain about how much someone sucks. (to the people that are complaining) If you don't like him...don't listen. Last time I checked no one forced you to listen to him. And if you want a better tracklisting go get the vinyl yourself and trying spinning for a change.
