ya, i tried to do it by progress of the tracklist, not how the style was, cuz honestly, the style you mixed wasnt really my style, but thats alright, i had to be fair =), cant knock ya down for spinning what you spin =)

Since I have no talent whatsoever & entered for a laugh, to see how well I did, I gotta say I'm pleased with not finishing last, My mix I used some older tunes, And I liked the beginning, but wasn't as keen on the middle onwards, but I tried, and will try next time too if i get chance

are them some other basic or important rules when you mix (i am very good in beatmatching but i really don't any rule.)

Very helpful guide for beginner djs... it normally apply for cd or tt dj's but lots of advices can work for mp3 djs too

since i did my last mix i've obtained a pair of technics mk2's and haven't touched traktor since and don't think i ever will use it seriously again...

I love my tables After using them for awhile it shits all over traktor which cannot read the beats properly and the two tracks will drift in and out of sync at will.

The comp was pretty cool, but just as an idea for the next comp, maybe we should listen to the contestants mix in real time. I don't know exactly how it is done, but it would be more like a real dj competition, having one shot at it. Not mixing a set 300 times until you get it perfect...

haha that would be too hard, cuz you have to get all the judges together, and the person needs to shoutcast to them. its a good idea, just the organization and things coming up wouldnt allow it to flow smoothly, especailly with like 4-5 judges

quite a lot of the tunes at the start were jsut tunes id recently found and wanted to have a go aty sticking in a set, not usually my style, usually my sets go techtrance > dark hardtrance > uplifting hardtrance
