Ahh the joys of being "part time" labor.

Of course, I find that overtime is generally overrated for 2 reasons:

1. You have to work more/shittier hours.

2. You don't actually get all that much more money becase the more money you make, the more they take out of your paycheck. It kinda works like one of those exponential curves from math class.

Just my 2 cents....

I am actually pretty bored, but pretty damn tired also. I watched "Quills" tonight on IFC. Interesting movie....

I should go to the video store or something...oh wait, they just closed. I guess I will have to make due with what I have.

Sigh.

If BestBuy still has the same employee policies they used to when I was in high school, I think they get like a 30-35% discount on everything in the store.

I had a friend in high school that worked there. He would buy people TV's if they paid him cash up front lol.

but we could give him money and he'd hook us up with cool DVD, remote controls, Flat screen monitors..

Damnit I got woke up y a ringing telephone and I had to run all over the apartment to find the phone with callerID on it. All for an Out of Area call. Sigh....is better that I am awake anyway, I had a couple of freaky realistic nightmares...were the kind that twist real life into the "worst possible outcome" like losing your job or woman you are seeing telling you she is moving in with some guy in another town...that kind of thing.

I am going to try to see how long I can go without drinking. Its been 1 night so far. I wonder if I can last until Christmas...

Drinking alone apparently only works when you get a buffer of hanging out with friends nights in there somewhere.
