haha, love the picture of you on the table!! nice one. i can't believe you don't like born slippy, that song does good stuff for me. probably because i associate it with the movie but whatever. i like the much overlooked pvd remix, mainly because it extends the sounds of the first verse. i don't like the song all that much once the bass kicks in. but the beginning part of the song, mmmm...

i must really associate it with the movie because i'll listen to it in a bad mood and it gives me the everything's-going-to-be-ok feeling and i tend to picture rents walking down the street with his bag of cash...

So why did I do it? I could offer a million answers, all false. The truth is that I'm a bad person, but that's going to change. I'm going to change. This is the last of this sort of thing. I'm cleaning up and I'm moving on, going straight and choosing life I'm looking forward to it already. I'm going to be just like you: the job, the family, the (freaking) big television, the washing machine, the car, the compact disc and electrical tin opener, good health, low cholesterol, dental insurance, mortgage, starter home, leisurewear, luggage, three-piece suit, DIY, game shows, junk food, children, walks in the park, nine to five, good at golf, washing the car, choice of sweaters, family Christmas, indexed pension, tax exemption, clearing the gutters, getting by, looking ahead, to the day you die.

anyone know what DIY is?

agreed, but i'm just about the ADD poster child. can't focus on one thing, need to do at least three things at once. like right now, i'm talking to people on AIM, surfing TA, and looking for apts.

same thing happened to me. a friend was always talking about born slippy and he couldn't believe that i'd never heard it. meanwhile, i kept wondering about this old track that i'd heard at dance valley for the first time in ages, but i was so fucked up all i could remember was there was a lot of "boy" in it. finally put the two together and laughed at myself for a while.

Posted by crchingtiger on Nov-30-2003 06:50:

i just can't stand born slippy becuz i've heard it 50 million times in countless livesets

but yeah, i have a hard time doing just one thing too...i'll listen to the livesets as i clean
just call me suzy homemaker
i've even learned how to cook becuz of livesets
lol
(well at least I THINK i know how to cook)

i looove to clean. i don't like organizing, or picking up clothes. but a clean bathroom and kitchen, mopped and vacuumed floors make me very happy. and i like to cook, especially baking

yes, i just like cleanliness in general

i secretly hope i get a cooking book for christmas though cuz right now all my cooking entails is eggs and homefries. lol

homefries are so awesome! it costs like $1.50 for 5 potatoes and you can make like 5 big servings!! so good
i say the more garlic and pepper the merrier

i'm not a fan of baking however...i usually wind up eating all the cookie dough

i'm probably going to bed soon, and the speaker's on this computer don't have a headphone jack. my parent's don't like me playing music in the room next to theirs while they try to sleep. weird, no?
