Well, this is turning out to be a GREAT start to the night. I just received a phone call and offer for the J-O-B I wanted. Yes! (and no drug testing )

120 hours paid vacation time. Good pay. Full health benefits. I don't have to relocate. And how's this for perks: You work 8 hours/day, but you can start as early as 7 and anytime before 10 (when the staff meeting takes place). No weekends.

My first full-time "professional" gig, so I'm stoked

Screen sharing is now a premium feature, fucking lame, and it started throwing all these fucking hints at me on OS X about my idle status, like "It appears you are active again, would you like to set your status to active?" NO FUCKING SHIT I WOULD, YOU SET IT TO IDLE WHEN I LEFT FOR 10 MINUTES.

Well its the latest version of a microsoft product, it not sucking would be an actual surprise. Generally i wont hate on Microsoft, but they have been dropping the ball lately with everything they do.

For our lights, stupid. We have patio lanterns all around the pergola - they are a nice warm orange color...looks awesome all lit up.

edit: normally they're plugged in and don't look quite as sloppy. There is also another spotlight jiggered up there for bbqing at night.
