Total agreement. I'm willing to bet not a one of them was even married to her, and that whomever had dirtbox duty was no doubt a serial sodomite in the first degree. And whoever wasn't wearing a prophylactic was obviously committing to the deed in the only way the good lord intended it, but was obviously taking a chance with diseases, so I'm pretty sure that counts as gambling, as well!

hahahaha the whole hypocritical moral objection to porn depending on what they're doing/with whom/how many. Take a minute just to think about what you're on about, all porn is inherently a 'sin' but some of its even worse when you can't get off to it.

Here's something to do today, go throw yourself under a train and see if god exists.
I'm sure she'll think you're a wanker too.

I had the best weekend at work. Training to work in the surgical step down unit, but we currently don't have any super sick patients in there...so for the last four hours of my shift on Fri + Sat, I got to hang out in the ICU and learn about/work with arterial lines. It just occurred to me how much I got paid for doing almost nothing for four hours, lol. Woo!

Then because there are no elective surgeries on the weekend, I only had two patients yesterday.

Oh and I get paid a shift premium on weekends....weekends at work are awesome!

How many days a week do you work ?

I'll just say what everyone else is thinking: did she do DVDA?

I hate instagram with a passion that cannot be described. Just thought i would put that out there. Out of a few dozen people that post instagram pictures that i see in my fb feed, exactly one of them knows how not to overdo it, every other one oversaturats the pics so much that the colours burn into ones eye.

Posted by netroM on May-15-2012 12:11:

I don't mind instagram that much, but then again I don't have that many friends who use it actively.

I like most of the stuff I see on Tycho's blog (ISO50), and I've tried fiddling around with it myself; it has some cool filters which can give a nice effect

this is true but at the same time with every tom dick & harry flockin to it, it leaves room for people who know what they're doing & don't use it to impress us without the ******ry involved

Um, it's probably easier just for me to say that I work 7 12 hour shifts over the span of 2 weeks.

But I have a master rotation that doesn't change unless I switch shifts with someone. I work every other weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun). The weekends I work, I have the following Mon + Tues off, then I'm back Weds + Thurs with the following weekend off. Then I'm back Mon + Tues with Weds + Thurs off. Repeat. I do this rotation for 2 weeks of just day shifts (7am - 7pm), then I go on 2 weeks of night shifts (7pm - 7am). Nights and weekends are awesome because I get paid shift premium for them, which is an extra couple bucks an hour. I make bank if I work nights on a holiday that falls on a weekend, lol.

Every 12 weeks I get a whole week off as well.

have you ever seen anyone DIE?

Posted by Silky Johnson on May-15-2012 14:29:

Yes, I've been with quite a few people as they DIE. I've also helped revive people back from the dead.

Posted by enydo on May-15-2012 14:37:

I could never do it, I don't think. I had to valet at a children's hospital one summer and it caused me to get really depressed and anxious being around illness constantly like that.

Bravo for those that do.

It must be quite an experience

Except for accidents (which I presume is not the kind of death you see), when people in their deathbed pass away it's just like they went to sleep. Reanimation, on the other hand, is the best rude awakening most people will ever have

I'm willing to bet seeing kids die sucks way more than seeing old people stop functioning

Don't disrupt Lira's Hollywood style death scene dreams!

Well, when I saw my godmother die I was by her side and she pretty much just stopped breathing. It was quite peaceful, really, and that's why I said that. It wasn't unlike someone going to sleep, except she didn't snore. No gasps, no last words, no nothing. Had my mother not yelled in despair the moment she noticed it, I can't say I would have noticed.

So, no, Nou, I'm not talking based on Hollywood dramas

Posted by Joss Weatherby on May-15-2012 18:41:

Some people die naturally of violent cardiac arrest on their deathbed...

Yes a lot of deathbed deaths are "peaceful" but some can be rather gruesome.

Posted by Lira on May-15-2012 18:47:

Meh, that's like going to sleep after one too many tacos

Still, I'm sure no one literally loses their head in a hospital bed, unlike what paramedics may find in a car pile-up

Or combat medic... probably why VAR was so odd.
