Yeah I really liked it. you could tell those involved had a real passion for “the scene”, even if the movie wasn’t particularly complimentary. Some good tracks throughout too, though unfortunately no version of the nice piano piece when his sister died is available on the OST

That seriously needs to be a real phrase.

"Has he reckoned level with his brain yet?"

"Nope, he's still working on it."

Double Post warning

I don't have time to dig right now for it and Google is coming up useless with my search options but I think it was WityHandle that showed an artist that takes pictures of miniature toy like stuff that looks somewhat real. I remember one photo looked like a girl was blowing a piece of gum and it was making her float. He has books at Amazon but I can't get his name on a search. much appreciated.

Wow, I've just feelslapped.

I usually have tea at 5 in a Japanese school, and today we were talking about exotic food. I remember they sometimes eat grasshopper pickles were my wife's parents came from, so I said something like:

"Did you know people in Nagano eat grasshopper pickles? It's so weird... I wonder what it tastes like"

Then a teacher calmly said "Oh, it's no biggie, it's a bit like crackers"

"Really? Where did you eat grasshoppers?" (I wondered if it was a Nagano thing)

"We all did after the war"

Feels ensued

In fairness, the grasshoppers around Nagasaki weigh as much as a large cat.

Interesting fact: The teacher who told me that actually is from Nagasaki. Her family saw the flash, the black rain, and all that. They lived behind some mountains or something, and that's why they're alive.

anyone remember the post (the search engine isn't working) of a guy that made songs with his voice and with equipment like Kaos pad 3 and would loop his sound effects into songs like trance, drum n bass, techno, ambient and it was an hour plus long show on youtube. I know of Tom Thum but I don't think he is the guy I am thinking of but I could be wrong. Anyone know who I'm talking about?

I'll leave this here as his style is more classical jazz as his bread and butter.

It starts off slow but watch it all as the end is incredible.
