You're right, I see that you purposely left it open to interpretation as to whether you were trying to be funny about correcting him, or whether you legitimately didn't know what it meant. I'll admit that's a good tactic for not coming off as quite as much of an idiot as you usually do.

And you really don't have any insults. They're either things you completely make up (my fiance is fake, etc.) or some VAR-esque psychotic diatribe. That's not really an insult so much as a psychosis manifesto.

Pffffffffff LOL. Really? He said your fiancee is fake? What's wrong with these people...

Ive just been greeted by gmails new compose "experience". I have the strongest urge to fly to google HQ and strangle the asshat responsible for that with a guitar string (i know that a piano wire is more traditional but i dont have one handy).

By selling me out he thought he would be in a better position and he ended up getting scammed in the end.

He very well knew what he was doing too. Snake move. Although karma may have already served him some revenge. Revenge always tastes better when its served by yourself.

Anyway, back to what really matters here: I'm happy to know he didn't actually steal any money from you, as it would've been even worse.

Like I said, there's one more person in the world now that can't fool you... and if he keeps doing that, he'll find out he won't have anyone to rely on either - so just let him drown in his own venom

Hahaha, oops. I changed my birth year on Facebook so I could have a bit of fun with my timeline today, and I found out I can't change it back to normal until May

Oh, well, I don't mind being 100 years old for a month!

I slept til 1630 today, holy. Because I'm sick, no doubt. It's not like I worked hard last night.

Anyway, damn.

That's at least ten minutes of over-sleeping. Fifteen if you didn't roll the night before.

I had a spoonful of Robitussin before I hit the sack, too.

Lol, "hit the sack".

I lost thirty pounds in the past six months or so.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Apr-01-2013 22:28:

Intentionally? That's pretty awesome if so. If not, I hope you aren't sick.

anyone have ideas of what I should do to this guy?
I am wondering if I should do nothing. Maybe losing your closest friend who you have known the longest is punishment enough.
guy totally changed since he started dating this girl, but the guy is a pussy imo.

Is he aware he let you down?

Case in point: My wife was back-stabbed by colleague last year - or so she thought. She was so angry she couldn't speak to him, until the day she mustered up the courage to do so. Apparently the guy had a completely different version of the facts (and a plausible one, no less) and broke down into tears when he noticed how devastated ma petite was. They drifted away because of that (they used to be quite close), but it comes to show there's a different way of seeing things.

Now, if he does know he was a jerk to you, and you let him know, what did he tell you? Intent matters quite a lot.

Posted by Vivid Boy on Apr-02-2013 06:55:

Its too complicated to get into details. Lets just say when i caught him I could see the guilt and self disgust on him and his gfs face. They felt like dicks. I drank all their wine and bounced back home to do some more research on the matter. Then found out they got scammed out of 80 k. I sent them an email to let them know, they got duped and I said I'm telling you this because I am a friend, this is how you handle the situation and proceeded to explain. Anyways I doubt they listened to my advice and figured I was raining on their parade so they probably went through with it. serves them right. He did try to put the blame on me at one point but that was just him trying to defend his position, seconds later he said he'll pay me some of the money (not now that he fucked himself out ok 80k).

Anyways we will see if he shows up to my bday festivities in 2 weeks. He better not. I doubt he can afford a drink at this point anyways.

The mature side of me figures he has paid enough. 80k plus his closest friend (but lets be honest people care less and have less friends as they get older anyways). But there is also this ghetto side of me that wants to do something in retaliation. A side that says "You are no bitch don't let people treat you like one." I had to go to the gym today and hit the heavy bag for 1 hour just to get the anger out of me.

never mix friends with money is a valuable lesson i learned a long time ago.

I just sprained my ankle pretty bad and going on vacation in a few hours.

Ice it. 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off, repeat. And take a couple extra strength ibuprofen, and continue to take them every 4-6 hours. The sooner you can decrease inflammation, the better.

Posted by srussell0018 on Apr-02-2013 19:04:

Nobody knows how to treat a sprain. Expertise required.

Thanks Jenny. I will do that.

Fortunately, I assume, you will be on a flight for a few hours....because you'll want to keep some weight off it. If you can wrap it with a tensor bandage or some other kind of stability device, that would also be good.

For years I have experienced a strange, totally sporadic, chest pain. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like I have a bubble in my lung - producing an extremely sharp pain upon inspiration, that doesn't go away until I actually take a deep breath and feel the "bubble" "pop".

I even went to the ER once, because I got paranoid that maybe it was a blood clot in my lung and I would have a stroke (lol, still a smoker back then). They did an ECG and all kinds of blood tests and the doctor told me it was nothing - likely just inflammation of the muscles in and around my ribcage. I wasn't really satisfied with that answer..it didn't seem inclusive enough based on my symptoms. Additionally, I know other people who have experienced this same thing - there HAS to be a name for it!

So today I got the pain again - but it lasted far longer than it normally does. I googled my exact description of the pain and discovered that what I have is called precordial catch syndrome.

Thank you, internet!
