I've never called in sick (or otherwise) to work. I've never actually been sick enough to do so.

meh they are given I take them when I want them. I usually get a crazy flu once a year so i usually take 2-3 days off when that happens and if i need a personal day to run some personal errands i cant do on the weekend or weeknight i might take another 2 days a year for that.

Today I took one just because I did not feel like explaining why my i have a gash on my face or why my knuckle is swollen.

SPORTS!

fuckin guy who is well known as a shit disturber in the league flicked the ball up and caught it in between his knees and did like some salsa dancing for no other reason then to spit in the face of my teammate so I steam rolled him half way through his little jig. He was pretty much laid out on the ground when his team came rushing off the bench. Then spectators came flying on to the field and it was one big fight. I took a stray punch to the face.

Wicked No is a trans lady. No joke.

She talks pretty openly about it, or has, when we had questions.

Things are good. Got married last summer and am now living in College Station now getting my M.S. degree.

Spring time in New Orleans is great. St. Patty's day is a huge celebration...but it's not overwhelming like Mardi Gras. Lots of great food pretty much anywhere you eat. Pat O'Briens is the best place for Hurricanes!....just avoid the lucky dog hot dog stands on bourbon st and you'll be fine lol

Awesome, congrats! Damn we're all really a bunch of old fogies now, shiet.

Also thanks! We're actually hoping to go for Jazz fest at the end of April. Will avoid the hot dog stands, thanks lol.

Jazz fest is great! lots of amazing music, all around the city.

If you're a meat (lol) and potatoes kinda gal, hit up Port Of Call on Esplanade....all they serve is burgers and baked potatoes (And amazing drinks).

So I used to think that fat girls were just less attractive, now I know it's also actually an indicator of poor self discipline and self control so my view is even worse.

Actually, I wouldn't paint them with so broad a brush. The poorer you are, the worse your diet (for all the obvious reason, and I mean quality not quantity), so if you're working like a slave and earning about as much, odds are you won't look like a supermodel. It's hard to say such people have poor "self discipline" when they're struggling to make ends meet. See what I mean?

Sure, some probably do lack self discipline and self control, but to say it's an indicator? That's a bit too general, don't you think?

(Also, keep in mind that, because all this extra weight may well be accompanied by diabetes, and diabetics seem prone to mood swings, odds are you'll need some patience dealing with them sometimes - unless they get too violent. I drifted away from a diabetic friend after he nearly crashed the car we were in not just once, but three times!)

No not at all, my gf's lecturer is actually doing a study on how the dopamine and self control systems of fat people are actually fairly inferior to those of people of a healthy weight. Also, we are talking averages here so even if variance is high, that doesn't mean that being fat isn't an indicator of poor self discipline. It might be as little as 10% more likely, and there's a variety of people who are/aren't fat who are disciplined/not disciplined but the relation between the two is still a thing.

It's very likely the study would've controlled for the presence of diabetes, so it's not entirely down to that.

"Everyone will be a DJ by 2018"

This seems to be a worrying trend. We seem to not have much time left where we'll still have credability .

Having been fat for a year (after a foot injury) and now slimming back down, I'm not sure that's a cause and effect relation there, but just simple correlation: Once I gained some weight, it was quite difficult to actually want to do anything. At all. The extra kilos made me feel more lethargic, in a way that I had never been before.

So, whereas I'd run around like an antelope before, it took me a lot of willpower (and a stolen car) to cycle to work... Which is how I'm getting my original weight back.
