So, they messed up by just writing bibliography, but you should have clarified with them

Yea, I am doing double work on the same thing for a single paper, its kinda annoying but ultimately easier since the final product only has to be done once, but I have two proposals and a bunch of supporting work in totally different formats for two different professors.

Toronto is an odd place.

You kind of sound like the RZA.

Have fun

I've made a handful of good Canadian friends in the past twelve months. I really cannot wait to visit!

Posted by OrangestO on May-17-2013 20:12:

Damn, never heard RZA, but that's dope; love his work.

That's not a good example. I forgot he's kind of yelling on that track.

imo he's one of the worst rappers in Wu Tang, but he can definitely produce great tracks.

Posted by OrangestO on May-17-2013 20:27:

Yea, I was just about to say that I love him much more as a producer.

Posted by srussell0018 on May-17-2013 20:34:

I used to listen to Triumph on repeat and always laughed at how bad his verse is.

Posted by OrangestO on May-17-2013 20:43:

That's what I love about them, though, they all contribute and compliment each other in one way or another.

I'm a big fan GZA, lyrically. Method Man, too.

Ah, those were the days.

Posted by srussell0018 on May-17-2013 21:14:

I always thought Raekwon and ghost face were the best lyricists.

I want to battle orangesto :P

Good choices, too.

I love this Ghostface record.

Raekwon's "Only Built for Cuban Linx" is a classic.

I wanna check out Ghostface's new project, though. Heard about on NPR radio. The dude who produced the album used Ghostface to rap a comic book or some shit. Sounded dope.

Posted by Vivid Boy on May-17-2013 21:26:

They need more collabs with MF Doom

I used to go to open mics and battle lol

That was a decade ago.

Then I pulled my pants up, popped a bean and starting dancing. I've never looked back

Posted by Vivid Boy on May-17-2013 21:28:

hha i dont tell people this but I used to break in highschool. I used to go to a lot of competitions around toronto

Posted by OrangestO on May-17-2013 21:31:

My "rap days" started in Toronto. Then I moved down here and I never gained any momentum or support. Not going to a real studio or having a real engineer was my downfall.

I think that's where I fucked up. Up there people thought I was dope cause I'm more of a lyrical dude, down here they were like why are so mad and what the fuck are you talking about lol

Fucking southerners.

Posted by OrangestO on May-17-2013 21:33:

And man, I've always had respect for people who can break. So dope.

This one little asian dude in my high school in Toronto....

This quiet dude that no one gave a fuck about. Then we had a talent show and he blew the roof off. He was that good. People were just so shocked cause when he walked on stage no one knew what he was going to do, like what the fuck is he up there for. Then the music came on and he just went off.

Posted by Vivid Boy on May-17-2013 21:37:

Haha ya i feel like Toronto steals its style from New York....or used to back in the day with the choclairs, red one's and kardinal's. However nowadays I think Toronto has a bit of its own style with the drake's, weekend's and shad.

Southern Hip hop, is very basic and not very wordy.

Ya breaking was huge in my school. I was lucky enough to have some big names at our school who were older who had no problems teaching this white kid how to break
