WHERE'S YOUR GOD NOW!?

I'd be lying if I said I could insert a coin and get hooked up to God every time. It's an understatement to say being a christian is hard, but we have to believe every thing will work out in the end.

The tide comes in, the tide goes out.
You can't explain that.

Are you bored? Play this on a keyboard:

C - C - C - C G E - E - D F D G C - C - C - C G E - E - D F D G

- stands for a pause. Should, in the very least, make you smile

Modern theories don't talk about nothing. They talk about the big bang being a cycle, backwards and forwards. String theory also talks about multiple dimensions and how planes that intersect can cause a big bang in another universe or both.

Also, if God existed before "the universe", who created God?

There's also Dark Matter, which is technically "nothing" but makes up the majority of the universe. Well, that's the theory at least and it's pretty sound so far.

Fellow Americans,

Can you please tell me what's the name of the song in the beginning?

I appreciate it and, yes, I'm asking a lot of favours today

Super God, created by Hyper God. There are Gods all the way up to Troll God, who was invented by the previous God, who He in turn also invented. Hence His name.

It's "Hail to the Chief" the person credited for composing the piece was James Sanderson, A Briton. It's been around since the early 19th Century.

It's terrifying when your your cat enters the room you're in, looks at something you can't see, and then runs away in a complete panic.

You need to put some science blog feeds in your rss reader, you're about 15 years behind on the latest theories on the origin of the universe and the what makes it up. Would try to explain what you got "possibly" wrong there, but i would be doing the scientists that come up with this stuff a huge disservice since im nowhere near smart enough to try and explain their hard work to someone else

It's probably just a huge spider, nothing to worry about.

Kitty is just running away to collect its thoughts. It will be right back, when you're not looking, to take care of it (one SIMPLY cannot hunt in peace these days... terribly rude of you, to even consider observing the kill).

Enjoy finding a huge, dead spider somewhere It's a present, from your overlord(s), to let you know they still care

I love cats

Impossible, kitty would've been ALL over it, insects don't survive here if the cat spot them.

Reminds me of this one time when I used to live in my old apartment, peacefully reading a book in bed one night, window open, and a fucking bat flew it.. my cat leaped from the other side of the room and caught it, instant death. He just left it there and went to lick his ass. Kind of his way of paying rent. I love kitties, too.

Man, I'm dying to know if Hal moved to Canada or if you moved to wherever Hal lives in the States. Just the thought of Hal living in our little country, awwwww. I want to know what he thinks of Canada life!

Posted by Lira on Jul-04-2012 16:04:

Impossible! Hal's 9 Inch Nails action figures are illegal in 67 countries including Canada; and Selma is Moroccan, so she can't get inside the US not even if she bribed the authorities with couscous.

It's like the one time Arbiter tried to get married to Vivid Boy as soon as she left North Korea: Canada wanted nothing to do with a North Korea, so Young-hee became a tough ultra-rational girl and Eric became a womaniser. It's not that easy to go from country to country, you know?

... which is a shame, because a Vivid Mini Arbiter would be awesome.

Well a good start would be to subscribe to a few of the Discover Magazine feeds, just to keep up with the latest stuff, for instance im subscribed among others to the Bad Astronomy, Not Exactly Rocket Science and Cosmic Variance feeds. These should get you slowly up to date on the latest in astronomy, astrophysics and physics but until then to address the few points in your post...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_energy

You pointed out dark matter as something that accounts for the majority of the univers, when apparently its dark energy that makes up about 73% of for the lack of a better word, stuff. And this same article also addresses that bit about big bang being cyclical since not only does dark energy apparently account for most of the...stuff (for a lack of a better word) in the universe its also what is is making the expansion faster which could lead to...well read the article, like i said, i dont know enough about this stuff myself to dare to try to explain it to another person.

ALso ive mentioned these several times before but if you're genuinely interested in this stuff, then the BBCs Wonders of the Solar System and Wonders of the Universe documentaries are a great laymans introduction to all of this recent physics stuff.

The universe being so big with everything so far apart from each other, it would be the end of "matter" as we know it?

Hm, so Hal gave up his toys and moved to Canada then. Interesting.

Actually, he smuggled them to Nunavut, and they're now living in Greenland. All Selma had to do was make a drawing of Muhammad to show the Danish government she's not a hardcore Muslim (ask Jori, she knows all about it). Her drawings are actually quite good, as her Muhammad had a six-pack and fought infidels with laser beams.

Selma is awesome like that. Or, at least, I believe she is, because let's face it: It's not like this could have ever happened. Hal wouldn't ever get married to someone he met on the internet - as you said - and we all know there are no girls on the internet for him to get married to

When math comes in handy: Just finished remodeling the kitchen, our last renters kept it in such bad state. Next step, change the tilings of our cozy Terrace, and then the bathrooms. Bathrooms and Kitchens can increase the price of any property.

We've also bought all the supplies and did all the engineering and work. DIY sucker
