fuck my life i am drunken

The thing with blackouts is the patchy memory. A few weeks may pass and you'll start to remember random things but never the full story.

You're a cat, Fleisch. You probably lost a life somewhere in your epic journey and your house was your last save point

ps.: Was my Split speech this bad? I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to make this joke for a while now

Think Sydney hit the biggest concentration of soggy-gay last night anywhere in the world. I also drank like today wasn't going to happen and unfortunately it did

Now everything hurts

Posted by Ian on Mar-04-2012 09:02:

but Lil, everybody hurts... sometimes.

This to me is why we have the random thread. When you find some music so beautiful that it has to be shared and MD is full of shit

http://soundcloud.com/auxiliarylabe...x004-asc-synkro

ASC + Synkro = superb.

Posted by Lilith on Mar-05-2012 07:19:

I made a new mix
Its a slow enough bpm people (house-fags and prog-noobs) might actually listen too it, that and I was very hung over so anything faster might have actually caused an injury
/shameless promotion over

I've only experienced blackout once, and that was when I got home after a New Year's party; I remember just collapsing on the bed with my clothes on, and then woke up later that day without the clothes on.
Boxers were still on tho, so no sexual predatory activity.

shitty blackout story is shitty, but that's the only one I've got.

That's not blacking out, that's passing out, and there's a big difference.

Passing out is just that the body is too tired to keep going, so you fall asleep. When you black out you're still going strong, only no new memories are stored in your brrrain.

Also @ Lira, there's a thread on this subject somewhere in the COR, try searching.

stupid people rant:

so at my job this girl left (was moving out of state) and i got bumped up to a very happy 40 hours a week, then not even 1 week after this girl was supposed to move she comes in and begs for her job back (which is now mine) they tell her im doing a great job and that they will only give her 20 hours a week back and because now theres an extra person there my hours got cut.

I stop in today to get some stuff for my doggies and the owners are all frantic, i ask where this girl is and they say she didnt show up for her shift (after begging for it back) I know this means my 3 days off are fucked... now im working 50 or more hours this week because i have to do my job and hers... they had made a new position just for her.

why the hell would you beg for your job back and then not show up? make up your fucking mind! my bet, she walks in tomorrow begging for her job back, again.

Posted by srussell0018 on Mar-05-2012 17:45:

So you're getting paid for what, 10-20 hours more than usual, and you're complaining?

Mrs. Nou, imo.

Posted by citric_acid on Mar-05-2012 17:50:

because i dont need the money... and i have a life outside of work, i had spent 18 hours getting my jeep ready for my offroading trip that i was leaving for today, and now i dont get to go.

put my new bumper and winch on, chopped my fender flares, installed the new tires, put the armor on under my jeep. now it will be months before i get to do this trip to moab

also instead of just working 12-9pm im working 6am-9pm starting tomorrow, meaning my dogs have to come to work with me and be stuck in a kennel all day while i take care of the others.

Posted by srussell0018 on Mar-05-2012 17:56:

Ahh. Well that does suck lol. Nou comment retracted.

So what is it that you do?

Posted by citric_acid on Mar-05-2012 18:00:

yeah, its not a sitting job either, you are on your feet the whole time, theres not even a chair anywhere in this place.

i run a dog boarding facility and they will allow me to run my photo business out of there in return starting this summer

Posted by srussell0018 on Mar-05-2012 18:09:

I'd love that job. I actually have been considering joining the Army or Marines to get into one of their dog units, and then opening up my own boarding/training facility in either NYC or LA. Rich people will pay obscene amounts of money for you to train their dogs so they don't have to.

hahah yeah they will. why not just open a dog boarding facility without army or marines (not saying you shouldnt do that, just curious your reasoning for starting there)

i love my job, i thought id be working 9-5 at a design firm by now but i dont see myself going back to a desk job.

Posted by srussell0018 on Mar-05-2012 18:14:

The credentials would just increase the amount of money people would be willing to pay. If they had the choice between some random dude with a tiny bit of training and someone who was highly trained in the military they'd probably choose the latter.

There's a guy in Rochester who was in a K9 unit in the Marines for awhile, and he charges like $250 for a 1 hour session here. You could probably at least double that in NYC or LA. $500 an hour is prettyyyyy prettyy pretty nice.

Posted by citric_acid on Mar-05-2012 18:17:

that is a good point, one of the owners of my place was in the marines, he has some very loyal clients

Posted by citric_acid on Mar-05-2012 18:19:

btw ankle biters dont respond well to military k9 training... just something to keep in mind. we dont do training at my place but my dog trainer used simular methods with my dogs (boxer and boxer dane mix not ankle biters) and told me some of his horror stories
