I am half English lineage, but that lineage is pretty far removed. My fathers side can be traced back to well before the revolution. We spread out from the Americas to other colonies as well, as we have a large related group in Australia.

So yea, my ancestors might very well have been throwing tea into Boston harbor.

N

See!? My grandfather, not exactly the world's most reliable source, claims we're distantly related (but related in some way) to Queen Victoria. If this is true, and he was not just trying to embellish our family tree in some way, and you keep in mind she was the granddaughter of George III of the UK, you know what this means?

I'm not sure it means anything, I haven't thought the whole thing through

I'm actually related to Hitler.

Good to get rid of some fucking excess baggage. Finally after a year and a fucking half of stupidly trying to get rid of this person I was able to drive them away for good. Thank fucking christ for that.

TA bitches = fucking nut bags.

Holy fuck, I didn't really realize till now how horrible this person being in my life made me feel. The idea that I never have to deal with them again is amazingly refreshing. I thought I was going to be bummed (well I probably will be in like a month given my history with these sorta things) but right now I feel 100% relieved.

Also helped that today my suspicions about my cousin were confirmed. My favorite cousin is pregnant, 2nd trimester. Her and her husband are going to have the cutest kid(s) ever. So happy for them!

*edit*

The only thing I am a bit sad about is not seeing those bad ass dogs anymore. I love dogs so much lol.

Apparently I am a mod on OkCupid now... not sure why their bot decided I was fit for that... lol. Now to sort penis pictures... So many penis.

Apparently Justin Bieber has been spitting on his fans from a hotel balcony. Who knew hair spitting was a Canadian thing?

Its really only fun if you get to spit back, otherwise its just nasty and pretentious

Fucking Capitol Hill Block Party runs through tonight in Seattle. I skipped town for most of it just due to the noise and the crowds (my apartment is like 2 blocks away on the north side of the park, the party is on the south side). Didn't really plan it well though since I need to be back in town tonight because I have class bright and early on Monday. Parking is going to fucking SUCK. I wouldn't be surprised if I have to go ditch my car in another part of town and take the bus home, that or spend 45 minutes trolling around the hill for a spot.

Should have just bunkered down in my apartment, but it was nice to get out of the city this weekend anyways.

lmao bro... a logistical nightmare?

ditch the car and go party your ass off.

By block party they mean a gated off 100$ per ticket festival of annoying indie bands. The line up sucks this year. Was not worth going to. The only decent band is The Flaming Lips, and even then they are not worth 100$.

Still need to buy my decibel festival pass. Honestly I want to bug Idoru to buy it for me since he owes me a LOT on MANY MANY levels (and is crashing at my place for the duration of the festival).

Also getting bugged to go to Bumbershoot with some friends, for at least one day. I can't remember who they are going to see, but it sounded interesting.

On the other hand I just realized how many multi-day music festivals there are in Seattle... Never really thought about it. Folk Life, CHBP, Bumbershoot, Decibel... They are all nicely spaced out too across the year (though Bumbershoot and dB are pretty close, start of September, end of September).

Day passes are only 40 bucks. Although the music wasn't the best it was a blast and money well spent. I'm glad my cousin invited me to go with her. People watching at its best.

Is Zuckerberg running a ponzi scheme? #insidejob

Posted by Sleightful on Jul-28-2013 22:39:

It seems everyone from my high school is now joining up in what I can only describe as a thinly veiled pyramid scheme. Are people really still stupid enough to fall for these things? If I have to hear about how I'm missing out on a once in a lifetime opportunity to 'be my own boss' and 'change the world', I might just become a hermit.

once in a lifetime opportunity? please tell us more.

The hill is my day to day. Def some interesting people up there. Really fun place to live, though an additional 10,000 people per day is a bit much... Enjoyed getting out of the city, hanging out with my dad, and swimming with friends instead.
