hey every1!

my friend Bo made this track, please listen if you get a chance..!
i think it's not bad at all for a 17y/o who has been producing for just one year.. it's very trancey, with alot of new wave influence.. specially at the middle/end..

yeh, i know it's lofi he couldn't get anyone to host a hifi version... if anyone's up for it, let me know!

i'd do it, but my college has this 'no mp3's on your account' policy and i have gotten warned once before

The melody drops in too early.
He should let the pads come in slowly at 00:35mins (if neccesarry at all, since we all want a DJ-compatible version)

Track itself sounds like...hmm *turning volume up* Fruity Loops
Too bad I always had problems with its interface

I'd like to remix that track anyway

agreed.

i think its just as good as a lot of pro stuff today, but id love to hear a hifi version. i personally would want to hear a variation on the melody somewhere in the track, but repetition is the antithesis of trance, so that might be going against the grain.

good stuff, nonetheless !

I have mp3s on my account, as long as their not copyrighted, its fine I think, actually I have a few recordings of myself and they havent said anything.

they bitched at me once. It took them about 4 months to find it though. Nonetheless, i have had my 'freebie' and i am not willing to risk getting bitched at again/ losing my account.

Yeah, I've alot of problems with them too, but because of FTP sharing. I was off for a week once cause supposedly the cops and Time Warner caught me. Next time I'm off for a year

Whatever, I don't think they'll bitch about a non-copyrighted song

I'm very critical about reviewing music, and I thought your friends song was great. It has that Airwave/Green Martian type build up that I really like. A good quality extended rip of this would be very cool.
