wish me luck...

i know this is probably a waste of a thread... but yeah...

ok.. i'm asking my friend out to grad...

i've known her for many years... and i just have to say, she's the most wonderful person i've known... she's funny, responsible, intelligent, and very pretty... but we've never really developed a romantic relationship...

i've tried to recently give her some "signals" about how i feel towards her recently.. but i don't think she knows... so yeah.. it's gonna be a surprise... i'm just chatting with her on msn right now...

so... please wish me luck...

Posted by Vanilla on Apr-10-2003 20:21:

Hahah, around here when I graduated, everyone started looking for grad dates around January. Well best of luck.

Posted by IronDragon on Apr-10-2003 21:38:

I am assuming the following:
Grad=some sort of prom like dance.

Good luck.

Posted by Vanilla on Apr-10-2003 21:55:

Yes, Graduation, makes more sense than prom...whatever the hell that means

So is she going to Grad with you or what? Friends can still go to grad together.

Going with a friend makes the evening that much less stressful, and way more fun ! You aren't hung up on all the relationship bs that comes with going anywhere "monumental" with a significant other

Posted by J.L. on Apr-12-2003 00:52:

yeah... we are still going to grad.. but just as friends

grad = dinner/dance sorta thing

heh...still cool man. at least now you can relax, and not really make too much of an effort. it is then that she might and probably will get more interested (hopefully)

have fun

man that is so freaky, i did exactly the same thing as u 3 weeks ago, ask my really good friend to the grads, asked her out, she feels she doesnt want anything serious (just out of 2 year relationship) but we're still going as friends. so i know exactly wot ur going through, my advice, give some time, see wot happens on the night...
