i'm not expecting this one to be like that...last time, he was in Montreal the night before, and I really doubt he's gonna pull that type of mixing on us twice in a row. Thats what I think at least.

tru, he should be ALOT better that night, plus its in a TINY space so that will make it even better!!!

i think thats cuz of the break he took; after he came back, he's been experimenting more. His sets aren't nearly as epic as they were and they definately don't carry that magical (for lack of a better word) that they used to.

I think one day he'll go back to his roots tho; after listening to NE1, Renaissance, GU009 and GU013...nobody quite compares to what he was doing back then, and I don't think anyone ever will. This was his prime.

And thats why I'm goin to see him here; cause like you said, he's more hit or miss now. I'm taking my chances cause if he's a hit then it'll definately be worth it. if he's a miss then oh well, better than sitting at home.

the thing about progressive djs is that they crave smaller audiences... they aren't in it for the huge ass events which attract 20,000 + people... the more intimate the club atmosphere is, the better they connect to the audience... I know i'll definately be there for this!

i missed his last performance at KH, but i heard the same thing from everyone that was there, he was wrecked and sucked shit...

What the hell are you talking about?? Tiesto is throwing intimate parties called "Invited by Tiesto" in Holland every couple of months now. The name is deceiving, anyone can attend, but the capacity is only about 500 people... So don't say things which you don't know for a fact.

Of course I was there Trancegeek. Didn't blow me out the water thats for sure. Sasha is has not impressed me one bit since his bash at Meow a couple years ago, that is too long of a stetch for me to be considered what some think he is. I think his sound is almost ambient now and would not pay to go see him.
A cool little story though (which doesn't involve me) A bunch of my best friends went to the last party at Kool Haus where he sucked ass, and Sasha and Fortier actually came to the after party at my buddies house. They got pics and everything and well the stories that followed are well.......we'll just say it's better left unsaid. No word of a lie.

well aside from the fact they had ended the party so abruptly at 4am, i thought they were amazing ... but the thing is though, they play different styles altogether when they appear separately than when they're together... :/

lol, that party at meow, was that the time he blew up every speaker at the club?

I saw Sasha @ Space in Ibiza and he was unbelievable....although he never did play his set inside as promised (bugger)

THAT WAS A MEMORABLE PARTY - some how I don't think the Sasha of today can match his past appearances.

he's playing in montreal on the monday night - the night before the TO show. it's not happening at an afterhours, but montreal + sasha = bad news for Toronto!

i'm prety sure a DJ doesn't charge the same rates for every club. the size of venue definately has to be taken into consideration. that as sponsorship via. Goldclub as well ..
