Political Discussion forum meet up

We should all meet up in San Francisco and go clubbing together sometime. I would love to debate/talk about some of these issues face to face. Or we could all do E and be friends.

that would definitely be cool! i'd actually be serious in trying to get to something like that.

we could get a huge roundtable and sell tickets to the show. we would advertise it as a 'reality/political/theatrical/musical/comedy' show, who knows there may be some real money in this for us!

If I'd have money for the airplane ticket, I'd surely come. But I guess that's a bad thing about global communities. They are well, global, so there's most probably never gonna be any personal contact. Too bad because it would be interesting to see whether we would all become friends or whether we'd start to fight each other .

Maybe one day when we all get nice jobs and earn enough money for such a meeting we could turn it into reality.

if there is one thing i have learned- it is never meet with a bunch of internationals at a party to discuss politics. it always ends bad. face to face discussion would be nice tho. i doubt it could stay on politics forever tho. i for one dont have enough concentration - too many distractions!

Haha. I'd bet we couldn't even agree on a city or time! The posters here would set up rival factions, and it would be narrowed down to like 2 or 3 cities, and no one would budge, and we'd just have 4 different meet ups in 3 different cities, and then everyone would come back here and post about how their meet-up kicked ass and was better than everyone else's meet up, and everyone would have alliances and start threads bashing the other factions.....

And we will all look back and realize that nothing has changed We were born to argue!
