Dave, could you give us some info about the new mixes.

from jewel and deborah cox?
label? date? etc

grtz,
TNG

Posted by davedresden on Apr-13-2003 16:25:

jewel - intuition

was done for atlantic records. they're getting ready to press up a double pack

we did three mixes

1. gabriel & dresden hi-tek digital mix (the vocal)
2. gabriel & dresden lo-tek analog dub (the dub)
3. gabriel & dresden rhythm club mix (starts out at 107 beats per minute and goes into house after break)

for deborah cox "play your part" - we did that for J records.

deborah cox is very popular in the gay circuit scene so we did a little research into the producers from that scene (hex hector, johnny vicious, keith litman, thunderpuss, etc) i think the end result is something infuenced by those artists but still very much us. you're either gonna love the vocal or hate it, so we did an instrumental pass for those who can't deal with the vox. the instrumental is one of my fave trax we've done.

the label just went to mastering this past week, so the promo should be floating around anyday now.

our duncan sheik remix just went to #1 on the billboard dance club play chart, and party 93 in miami and party 105 in long island are playing it in full rotation.

we don't make these mixes with radio in mind, but it's great that they're playing our music!

: )

Thanks a lots Dave, Love your work, please come and dj in Ireland
Lush is our main superclub you can check out their site at www.kellysportrush.co.uk saw Guy Ornadel spin there a few weeks ago, he knows Col Hamilton and the guys really well there and as your agent could set it up. Lush have a serious Avalon sound system and you would go down a storm.

No, bugger Lush.

Come down south to Cork. We never have any decent DJ's and could do with you coming down to tear the place up.
