David Saenz

Music Background
David has been playing music for twelve years. Since his arrival at Carnegie Mellon, he has had the honor of studying with the great Pittsburgh saxophonist Eric Kloss. Under Eric's loving guidance and a diverse course curriculum, David has been exposed to the techniques of Jazz and Classical masters. Dave has played in the Pittsburgh City Theatre's A Streetcar Named Desire, and California State University's Grease.
Gear
David plays a Yamaha Custom (YAS-875) alto saxophone with black lacquer finish, a Selmer Super Action 80 Series II tenor saxophone, a Yamaha flute, and a Buffet R-13 clarinet. He uses La Voz Medium Hard reeds on both saxophones.
