Message from Armin Van Buuren

Dear Fans/friends,

Unfortunately today several tracks have surfaced on the internet that
you
may think are mine and would be appearing on my new album. The truth of
the
matter is that of these tracks, only 2 versions (Yet Another Day,
Sunburn)
will actually appear on my album. The rest of the tracks aren't even
Armin
van Buuren releases!!!

As you may know I'm currently finishing my album to be released this in
June. It will include loads of new tracks, special collaborations and
songs
like Yet Another Day, Blue Fear, Sunburn and Communication.

Things are not always what they seem so please stay tuned for the real
thing
;-)

well, if he thinks that the tracks are that bad, than wtf is he putting them on his debut album...? Also, he's gonna look pretty stupid when the album is released and those "fake tracks" are on it.

and this has happened before... there have been fake Hybrid remixes released.

Actually, Armin pre-empted this by posting his statement before most people had even found out about the fake album.
Not to mention a lot of the people I know who have listened to the fake songs said they were pretty good.

Just give it up dude, stop trying to make Armin out to be some evil super-villian

I was thinking more along the lines that some teenagers ripped a promotional copy of his album and it spread. When Armin found out about the negative reactions he decided to say theyre fake, and put different tracks on the album since artists usually produce more tracks for an album than they put on it.

Anyway this could be a possibility, I'm not saying thats what he did for sure.
