Hey people!

Just came along the site Juno Records where you can buy vinyl. They have very cheap prices, and i'm just wondering how they are??
Has anyone had experience with them before and were there any problems?

Also, are they are bad as HTFR (hopefully not!)

thanks!!

I've never had any problems with them either, delivery is fast and orders always complete.

I've got a problem with them. They jack you in shipping costs. I go chemical records now.

I totally agree with that statement, that is their only downfall. Chemical is rediculously cheap when it comes to shipping costs!

Also juno wouldn't care to help you in terms of paying vat unlike chemical who makes sure your records go straight to your home. I'd never go to juno again unless they'd carry something ultra rare...

you're not supposed to pay VAT if you are outside europe, so i dunno what you are talking about.

juno is very reliable. the only beef i have with them is sometimes they don't have the item in stock and they just ship my order without even consulting me. however, their shipping prices are major bogus!

Posted by Narcissus on Apr-17-2003 04:31:

i meant customs(which also consist of my local vat). the customs charges us 30% on the value of package and 7% vat on top of combined costs i.e. both the value and customs.

edit* right i got the delivery charges, and iam trying to make sense of them.......

(iam in the uk) so say i bought 1 record it wud cost me the record price + 2, if i bought 4 records it would cost me the 4 record proces, + 2??

is that correct

edit* another quick question, how do i enable cookies on windows xp, because when i try to bag an item on chemical to buy, then i go to the checkout, my bag is empty. It says in the help part that you might need cookies enabled....

Yea, for UK based customer the delivery charges is 2 pounds per order so it doesn't matter how many records you place in your order shipping would cost the same... for Asian or other countries or atleast for me it costs 1.50 pounds per item...pretty darn cheap i'd say...!

To enable cookies if you're using IE then go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy and adjust it accordingly as adviced there..

they messed up on my order.....and they let me keep the record and offered me store credit! But I asked them if they could just send System F's exhale and they did!

JUNO IS THE SHIT!

never had a problem with them.

always been helpful when something i ordered is out of stock.

shipping may cost a bit much but it's fast.

Cool

juno: 11/10 ... juno shipping prices: 6/10
chemical: 5/10 ... chemical shipping prices 10/10

i would order off juno rather than chemical any day, chemical have fukkered up for me a couple times in the past but the shipping is well cheap... depends if u wanna run the risk really.
