La Vella in Panama City Beach
I'm taking a vacation in PCB in the end of June, the Club Vella website looks unbelievable. The trance room appears the hardest to get into however.
Does anyone have any experiences to share?
Curious of what to expect.
Thx in advance.
Suzy Solar, my partner played at La Vela once along with DJs Trancelott,Noel Sanger, knightlife, and Stylus. The club as you may know is a haven for spring breakers. Its waterfront and also very big. They used to claim to be the largest club in the US, Im not sure if they still do or not. I only went in 2 of the rooms when I was there. The vip section was really cool, They had some neat furnature in there. Outside of the 2 rooms they have a big swimming pool.
The show that night went well. Drinks were flowing and the music was really good. It was after the show that I wont forget. That club put us up in the worst hotel I ever stayed at. We had driven straight to the club before the show so we didnt discover how bad the room was until we were too drunk to make the 6 hour drive home. The room had no air, bugs, the toilet was on permanant flush, it smelled bad, the chest of droors were even nailed shut with bent nails. Thanks to the booze we somehow managed to get some rest. When we woke up we were very dehydrated and so hot. No ac in Florida is a real drag.
So thats my Club La Vela adventure. Music wise, I would say you can expect to hear a lot of breakbeat while you are there
