The Dirt on DJ's

are these people saints? do they ever do anything shady & underhanded??

it seems like mainstream artists are always in the public eye, whether it's kiddie porn, picking up hookers or beating their wives their always causing shit


i've never heard of any Dj's being exposed for public drunkeness or drug dealing or toting guns??

Yes, well deepending on what you call 'bad' I think a lot of Djs get high on drugs.

Marc Spoon got arrested in Ibiza for E and spend 3 days in jail for that.

Josh Wink is a thief, he stole a dan bell song and then used it in his own song (it was blatantly obvious he stole it) then claimed he came up with the idea.

Sasha is known for ending up drunk in ditches in Ibiza

Drugs killed the following deejays

larry levan, ron hardy and walter gibbons

so much that ron hardy became a real junkie in his later yrs. Ended up selling rare as hell house records for money to feed his cocaine habit.

Dave Clarke and Richie Hawtin are always fighting when they end up one after the other at festivals. Creamfields 2000 being the first example, they came to blows. People think it is from the early 90's when Dave Clarke reviewed records for mixmag and he slagged a Hawtin record and the bad blood continued.

Apparently one of the famous NY house deejays has one of the world's largest porn collections on DVD, dunno if it true

And sasha once pushed a whole setup of decks/mixer etc. Into a swimming pool next to the stage after the club owner wouldnt give him the minidiscs that his set was recorded on..

and btw tta.. sasha doesnt get drunk and end up in ditches He gets smacked out of his head on god knows what, then proceeds to collapse in a ditch nearby

pvd's drink was once spiked

and lots and lots of DJ's do drugs I dont consider this bad tho.

most of them do drugs for sure.

Scott Bond.... can't remember when it was... either 2001 or 2002. His whole set was just a mess... he was so drunk, that he hardly spun, just threw on any record he felt like and skipped through by moving the needle, didn't bother beatmixing, he even left the decks to take a piss. The next day he realised what he had done and had to give an apology for his behavior.

I remember that actually so the story goes, Scott Bond was playing some club in denver, colorado and apparently his drink got drugged and he had no clue what the hell was going on. So he calls the owner says i'm giving back my fee and I'll play for free later on in the year and he did. Dunno how true the drugging the drink story is.

whatever dirt there is on thease guys, they are still as richand famous as hell, and they can just laugh at thease stories.....

LOL, I was there, private party he was playing at and some dude recorded what he was playing. Sasha wan't it back at the end of the set and the guy gave him blank Mini-Disc. He got pissed off and threw the setup into the pool. Him and John soon left

Armin drinks like an Irishman every time I've seen him.
