ok this is a bit off the subject but in the older version of traktor there are those three nobs, low cut, width & res. here are my two questions:
1)can i get those "effects" to connect to a real life mixer? if so what is it (what is it called) and which ones do you recommend?
2) what does the res do?

Well if someone actually *told* me what's so nice about this mixer program I'd be more willing to consider it.

Look at it this way, I'm a skeptic and you have to convince me why I should use it. Can it output to WAV? Can it volume-match in a professional way? Can you learn it quickly? What options does it give you?

It's not enough to simply say "this prog is cool," you know...

I wouldn't say a WHOLE more but it' definately better than DJ Studio.
I have not tried it myself yet but I am definately aware of getting better results from it than I expect from the DJ Studio...

Get it at www.loveparade.net under "Digital DJ".
It's just kinda demo version thing with 6 tracks given for you to mix...here's what you do to try mixing any of ur 6 mp3 files from ur HD: after installing goto for example "C:\Program Files\Loveparade Traktor Contest" and then u see those mp3 files? Copy any of ur own 6 mp3 files there,rename them exactly to the names of the files that were in C:\Program Files\Loveparade Traktor Contest and don't forget to get rid of them please ask if u run into trouble...

Downloaded the latest version, but it has a real hard time on my machine playing through two sounds cards without scratchy sound, it pauses, jerks around etc. Anyone else have any better luck with a two sound card system? Works well with one, but that's no fun.

i had no problems whatsoever using two soundcards with traktor. maybe you should double check your drivers or see if there are some kind of conflict between the two cards...

Hey David I guess u just gotta be patient and Native-Instruments will release Traktor mac version pretty soon...(how soon? should be by the end of this year) and sorry I can do nothing to make that period of time shorter...
