Dunno I Want some good hardhouse! But What Tracks!

Hey Everyone

Im more of a trance person at music and know quite alot of good trance songs.

Im just really wanting to start listening to hardhouse tracks. Mainly i just love BK - Revolution (alphazone remix) and BKs Butterfly tracks, but apart from listening to fergie @ essential relief 2001, an old frantic CD, i dont know much hardhouse music.

Could you hardhouse experts, lovers point me to some good tracks, as id like to listen to more of it!

Thanks

Keith

PS - Any BK livesets around? :S

Hard house has evolved lately, borrowing elements from both techno and hard trance, which is a very refreshing cghange from the oh so worn out hoover and synth boshing that the genre has been plagued with for so long.Check out these tracks:

Sterling Moss - Electro Ghetto (Co-produced by Stay Up Forever hero Guy McAffer.A tight ass groove that refuses to let go.)

Anything BK & Nick Sentience, both alone and in coop with each other or someone else (virtually everything these guys put their hands on turns into gold)

OD404 - Crash Guard (Psy-edged hard house that kicks major ass)

Fallen Angel & Rowland The Bastard - One Inch Deeper (AMAZING soul diva sample that really lifts this tune to great heights. But somebody's going to get their asses sued when the sample's origin is discovered...)

Untidy Dubs - Funky Groove (Flash Harry's Disco Workout Remix)(Seriously funkin' hardhouse, the way it should be.)

Pants & Corset - K-Hole (Best tune in a while from these guys.Has an immense drive.Check out their remix of Spacefrog feat. The Grim Reaper - Follow Me too, very underrated.)

w00t! Nick Sentience is king! I highly recommend you check out International Big Room Tunes and International Big Room DJs. Both Nukleuz mix CDs have one disc mixed by Sentience, and IMHO are both amazing. You cant go wrong with Sentience for Techy-Hard House drifting into techno.

Though Sand Leaper has mentioned that HH has moved on, and I agree it has done so on the whole for the better, you should check out some older sounding tunes. Tony De Vit Are You All Ready, is a good place to start your search.

I can post a whole list of suggestions if you'd like more, but just dig around on the names suggested and you should find your way.

Spin Doctor is right, you should definitely check out the older Nu NRG sound that people like Baby Doc and Tony De Vit represented back in the day,as this is where hard house came from.TdV's Global Underground CDs is a good place to start.

And yeah,Nick Sentience is da shiiiat. Discotech,Digital Science and Wild Ride with Mark Tyler all kick major ass,and his remixes never cease to impress me.The fact that he together with BK managed to turn BBE - Flash into the immense energy blast that is BK & Nick Sentience - Flash alone is worthy of applause.

Cheers for the Start guys

Ive found basically none of the tunes above on The Hub.
Im downloading od404 - House Is On Fire (Paul Janes Remix).mp3 which sounds quite good

I have Hardhouse nation 2001 and Big Room DJs first cd which i forgot about hehe
