I speak from emotions man; and this stuff was really great! I can hear the Absynth at work with those awesome ambient effects, and the Pro-53 for the leads. So you use Cubase? Damn, too bad, I only use Fruity, but it's my gateway into doin big producin.

I'll use Cubase in the next year or two, cuz I'm so busy master Fruity; once I get a kick ass computer this year, I'm gonna change my set-up, and hopefully more stuff will be pumped out later this year, or early next. Great stuff once again. Hope people give it a listen. -Mental

pro53 is the bomb...also try Linplug Albino...my 2nd fav synth ;p

Hmm...I heard lot's bout the Albino, I'll check it out. I'm too busy makin my own Patches for Absynth, FM7, Crystal, Z3ta+, and Plastic Z. Not to mention Pro-53, which I am growing to love so far.

I think FM-7 Is a great lead companion too. I'm thinkin bout doin remixes with it, customizing my own patches. Check out the Z3ta+! It's got some sick features, along with 6 oscillators! I gotta read up more on the stats cuz I just got it.

Oh yeah, I got Vaz2010, but for some reason I neglect it, and my Windows ME is actin wack. But, I think my set-up is almost complete. All I need are monitor headphones, good speakers/sound card, faster comp, dedicated to making music, and a midi keyboard. Then I'll be happy makin my compostions.

Keep it up; if your only 16 your fortunate, cuz you got LOADS of time to get awesome. By the time your 20, you'll sound so freaking pro; but that depends on how much you practice now, which is prolly a lot. Later. -Mental

Oh yeah, I got this LinPlug Delta III, which I have yet to crack open. It looks like a reliable Steinberg program. Later. -Mental

i got delta...its like a diluted watered down version of albino!

LOL! Then, I'll try to get the Albino whenever I get the chance. But, a synth program is only powerful in the hands of the producer!

I was, and still am a big fan of the 3x Osc on Fruity loops. Sure, it may sound like crap, but it has a high learning curve; if you take the time to work with it, you can pull some cool sounds on it; for a program that works the way it does, you can make some cool trance leads with it.

But with programs like Pro-53, it's hard to make Synth Leads, but it's possible to make better soundin leads than the 3x Osc. I was makin this cool lead for a remix I was workin with for 'Push-Legacy', and I made a synth lead that sounded almost like the original. I was also tryin to make a 'Flulicht' lead like synth usin the Pro-53, and I came very close, but I didn't have the patience today. Perhaps tommorrow.

Other than that, my pad program is Absynth; that monster can make 'movie' score quality effects. I mean, you can make some scary spooky, or angelic stuff. Or you can make some wicked trance leads, up to you. I haven't worked with it that much, but I did spend one day makin my own patches. I'll get back to it, after I stop messin with Pro-53, and Z3ta+. -Mental

Percussion swings, sweet.

Posted by DJPrototypeX on Apr-24-2003 13:45:

holy f*ck...this is an amazin song dude...tops the original mix IMO...u got a hell of a massive bomb...everythin in this song is great...the melody is great...the percussion in this song is sick!!!

Posted by Vortex_SA on Apr-24-2003 13:56:

dude... i dont really see it as a remix, u ripped out the orig. synth and putted it there, with ur beat and some fxs... and i think the sample doesnt match ur bpm... and those "swings" in bout 1 min is really annoying to me... i think u can do better then this...

I personally don't like C:\del*mp3 .... but I can still see you've done a great job here.. I find it hard to enjoy because I don't like the melody from the original. Nevertheless, for people that loved the original - I know they'll love this too!

the main goal of me remixing a tune is to make it complete and better rather than change the style.
