Future Sound of London - Papua New Guinea (Nu Tone Mix)

New remix from Nu Tone titled 'Papa Has A Brand New Guinea Mix'. Lovely, lovely drum n bass here. Starts off with some large brass intruments, few spoken word samples then the atmosphere that is Papua New Guinea comes through. A single closed hi-hat running over the theme of PNG with a few more elements aiding the mood. In comes the break and all shackles fall off - drum n bass bliss.

Good remix of this classic, gonna be on my playlist for a while to come

8/10

Yea i thought so, couldn't find the nu tone remix..

Anyway, this tune is one of my favourites to surface this year. High Contrast is releasing some quality dnb, keep it coming!

Future Sound Of London - Papua New Guinea (High Contrast Remix)

Anyone into dnb at all must check out this tune!

Unless Nu Tone is High Contrast..it's not High Contrast.

The remix was done by Nu Tone, but no one's really supposed to know it was him.

there's 2 dnb mixes of this tune

HC mix has only just come out, there is an older one from last year however

High Contrast played a DnB Rmx of FSOL in his Essential Mix...i looked around for a DnB rmx and the HC Rmx is what i found...but the description stated sounds the same as the HC Rmx...so it could be one of the two...jus labeled the HC Rmx cuz of the EMix...

What has happened is that there are 2 new dnb remixes of Papua New Guinea which have surfaced this year (High Contrast and Nu Tone Remixes)

Both remixes were not planned to be released but the Nu Tone remix has been released recently on white label

As for the High Contrast remix, it doesn't look like a release is planned but hopefully that will change

Nah man, there is a High Contrast Remix and High Contrast plays it in his Essential Mix.. and not the Nu Tone Remix. Both these remixes exist but only the Nu Tone remix was released on white label

Hehe, its a good remix.. not as hard hitting as the High Contrast remix but still very good. I just ordered it on white label.

Btw, the white label release of the Nu Tone Remix is very limited so if you want the tune I'd say order it NOW because there are no repressess planned..
