Arrow Software Dj

Does anyone know of a program that can mix mp3s for me. I want to be able to input a tracklist and let it mix the songs for me.

Posted by AndskiSpeed on May-02-2003 17:03:

www.mixmeister.com MixMeister Pro 4

But it won't do an expert mix itself

You can probably get it from kazaa or something, but I didnt say that

use traktor or atomixmp3

Posted by Neoxx on May-13-2003 11:49:

I recommend using Traktor Player or Traktor DJ Studio 1/2 for a more profesional approach.

Posted by MASTERsplinter on May-27-2003 03:08:

you can use
SF ACID PRO
if it doesn't matter if the mix is live..

Posted by DJPhantasy on May-28-2003 14:40:

use mixmiester or cool edit. [cool edit doesnt have beat matching, i think?]

Traktor all the way

Posted by johnblaze on Jun-18-2003 21:56:

how do you actually record a mix on mixmeister pro 4 in order to burn it?

Posted by anth_on_e on Jul-02-2003 19:45:

all you have to do to be able to burn it its first create your mix and then save it just incase somthing happens and your pc crashes. after that just go to file and then burn to cd....i think it also allows you to export you mix to mp3 format.. if you do it that way, you can just use those files and make an audio cd

Posted by samhouse on Jul-19-2003 20:36:

now do any of these allow you to broadcast over shoutcast or something similar

atomixmp3....

Posted by infinity0908 on Jul-23-2003 21:14:

Traktor for live mixing
SF Acid Pro for non-live mixing, imo.

Posted by Lakerfan36 on Jul-28-2003 08:10:

atomixmp3 is the best

That is correct, unfortunately. When trying to find beats, via Edit|Auto-Cue|Find Beats and Mark, CEP finds, what I call "echo beats", unless you get the settings just right. A real PITA. Like everything else out there, CE has it's strengths as well as it's weaknesses.

Just tried AtomixMP3 and, for someone who has no idea of what the hell he's doing, that being me, it's quite easy to use. I really like the AutoMix feature. It almost makes it too easy, kinda takes the fun out of it. But I plan on going with a couple of MKII's t/t's when I get the cash. At least I can use this to get my feet wet. Thanks for mentioning it!
