Sasha GU 13
I bought this a few years back, and aint listened to it for over a year. I got a hangover from last night and i just put this CD on, my hangover is gone and i feel full of energy.
Some body wanna join in and expres how amazing this CD is...
013 =
the best of all the GU imo
(im such a newb
)
best cd i ever bought, simply put.
both cd1 and 2 are fuckin incredible
GU 24 better than GU 13
13 is a real beauty,no question about it.Still think Dave Seaman's Buenos Aires GU beats it,and GU24 is also one of the best GUs to have been released for a while now.
i can't say that gu24 is better than 13, cus last gu has been very different from the other ones... that's why i classify both as top class

I join you. It also gets better and better. Listen to it once every 2 months and you'll see! CD 1 is simply..simply the best CD I have ever listened to.

Good stuff. I also like San Fran the last few selections off the first cd starting near the quivver track are smoking.
speaking of cd2... not only is it the best GU cd, but the best cd ever made!!!

I really love GU 013 as well - Definaly my favorite of all the GU's
I got a copy signed by the man himself
It's prog house and epic trance...get it right
gu013 cd 2
fibonacci sequence - 5mins in...oHHHHH!!!!!!
zoe (timo maas remix) - WOOT!
cass and slide - perception (one of the greatest all time tracks)
song 4
then the greatest song of all time - sasha - xpander
then later on mercury and solace and heaven scent....WOOOOOOOT!
just because of the memories...i'm going to find my copy.
CD 2 track 1, Bt - Fibiconni Sequence. or something., my fav on the two, first time i ever heard the song, was on this album, blowin away by it. But i dont think 013 is the best. one of the best, but not the best.
Granted CD 2 has got the better "individual" tracks. However there isn't such a flow to create a real tension and while CD 1 has less popular "anthems" it is, as a whole, much more of a journey and therefore the better MIX(notice= It's after all a mix not a compilation!). The way it's built makes it an all-time masterpiece. The first 6 tracks start from mellow soft prog house and climax with Kleinenberg's epic "My Lexicon", then you've got 3 harder prog tracks followed by 3 of the most beautiful trance songs ever.
I like 13, yet I haven't listened to 24 yet. I might as well d/l it and see for myself
i agree it is absolutely spectacular...
but i like gu003 better...
The tracklisting and the mixing were top-notch
CD1 is the better mix of the 2. And yes, it is the best GU made. GU024 is amazing and very diverse and will be up there for a LONG time, but I doubt it'll have the lasting appeal which GU013 has 2-3 years down the road.
GU013!
Respect!
Admiration.
Oh hell, let me put this on!
.
.
.
Oh boy! I'm melting..melting!!!
THE BEST! BESTTTTT
I LOOOOVE the first disc!
The second disc is great too!

Thanks for the reminder, I'm playing it right now
Sooooooo goood. It was the first and the best GU I ever bought.
Why only compare GU13 to other Global Underground compilations? What about the Renaissance Awakening CD mixed by Dave Seaman. One of my all time favourites along side GU13! Make sure you check it out.
greetz, Wilco
I saw this in HMV the other day.
If its still there when I go in next time, I'ma be getting it.
