This is probably going to make me unpopular, but how about limiting, the amount of posts per IP per day? I know that I for one can't keep up with the current speed of the forums, and if every TA was limited to posting once or twice a day, maybe we would have less of the

Just create a "chat"-forum for those who can't figure out how to use the IRC-channel, and then let the other forums be limited to a few posts per user per day.

You know:

There used to be a time when people thought it over before posting...
...or is it just me who's hopelessly stuck in the good old days?

Your points are just, but how about it if your post-limit was accumulative? Then it would be a rare cae indead, that you were the only one with the right answer/you have a interesting point, but you simply couldn't post because of an empty "post account"?!?

heh, that's kinda how communism works. hehe. i dunno about having something like a post bank...i like the forums the way they are right now. i mean you have the sections that are for chillin' and the sections that are still dedicated to the music we all know and love. and you have the mods to move threads around. the system is pretty good the way it is now me thinks....hmm....interestinc concept though.

but in the end, having a post limit would still not stop all the 'yeah rights' in the threads. you'll just have less of em. also, it detracts from the community aspect of this place as well. *shrugs*

I agree with trancaholic because I also think that the level of this forum is declining! Like 60% of the posts are useless! So because of this people will think about what to write in their messages and therefore the level of this forum will increase!

I dont think 1 or 2 posts a day is a good sollution, more like 15 posts a day or something!

Probably Lynx would die if this would happen ! JK

but i don't think the viable solution is to make a post limit.. i don't know what a viable solution is
