great album. very good for this time of year. 10/10
really diggin' eastern vibe right now. mint tune. great middle eastern feel to it.
I just got this - a bit cheesy but who cares
Not bad at all, good album I haven't listened to it all yet
yeah, the previous thread on this seems to have magically dissapeared, I dunno wtf happened to it
lol
well, I will repeat my review then:
This CD is pure crap. 18 fucking songs that all sound exactly the same, with the same beat, same synths, and same awful vocals!
jesus
I dont mind vocals on a few tracks, but an entire album of them? come on!
it's like he took the formula for into the night and hit ctrl+C 18 times....I mean wtf...some originality please! Except none of these other tracks even come close to Into the Night or Diving...Carlo totaly fucked it with this, he overdid it...ruining the 4 Strings style!
and don't even get me started on that godawful 80's remake - forever young....sounds like some pos R&B tune ffs!
ughh
Darude actually made an album that was 1000 times better than one Carlo Resoort made...now that is fucking insane
LOL @ beema.. actually I tend to agree with you after previewing some of these tracks.. 'Forever Young' and 'High On Life' is awful.. haven't listened right through but they do sound the same. Maybe this one is a disappointment then
i haven't listen to all of it. but it does kinda get boring after hearing the same vocals with the same formula in every tune. but to say that carlo fucked up is a mad mistake. there are alotta quality tunez. he just needs to stop using as many vocals in his songs. but i still enjoy most of his work. word of advice, try to evade songs such as; 'high on life', and 'forever young', seeing as its not his best work.
p.s. he totally killed 'revelation' with those awful vocals. it was such a mint tune, and he totally shitted on it with this new vocal version.

I haven't heard the album but chucking eighteen tracks into one album really tells all I need to know about it...
sounds like pop music with catchy hooks & stuff, very 80's sounding, but with more energy than 80's music. I like it.
shift-del
ive heard this album two times now, just to be sure..
all i can say is that i like High on Life a bit, even though is cheezy as hell..
(Damn! why did i trusted Carlo and pre-ordered this album)
and Remover (my fav 4 Strings/Carlo Resoort track) isnt on there
But this track is da bomb: 4 Strings - Let it Rain (E-Craig Remix)!!
its absolutely a stormer..found out about it on Cor Fijnemans top ten list..
anyone heard the Driftwood remix of let it rain yet..any good??:

gotta listen to it before i judge in any way.....though if it's nothing but vocal radio mixes, i'll just say cheese!
I actually liked it!
Take me away rocks too
He's just trying to go mainstream, trust me this is like Oakenfold's Bunkka, it's not meant for us true tranceaddicts i'm sure. He went a bit overboard on this perhaps..... but let's not judge him by a release that's clearly meant to be a TOP 40 contender.
