Evidence: Iraq and al-Qa'eda in Cahoots together!!!!!!

This could very easily be bullshit. The US was allowing reporters into the building, it had already been looted and trashed, etc. Anyone could have put them there. I juut see no reason why mortal enemies would arrange visits with each other, and how even if they did, that that proves there was some sort of "link."
but are u an enemy if u want the destruction of the same people; ie Isreal and the USA????? sure it could be bullshit, but so could the rest of the "bullshit" that u take for granted of being true

well the reasons the US attacked iraq is because of the WMD's and its supposed link to AlQaueda, since they couldnt find WMD's to justify war, might as well try to proof the latter to justify the war..they also called it freedom iraqis but those iraqis are hating the US..what a pathetic war..

imo its bullshit, i mean the tlegraph, toronto star, SF Chronicle, ABC News, and the BBC all found the document. This is after the CIA went through this building before. Oh well, Bush has always suspected Saddam was behind 9/11, even though the CIA director spoke in front of (Congress?) and British's MI6 have stated that there is no link between al-queda and saddam.

Plus, that white-out baloney is the funniest shit I've ever heard!
What kind fo intelligence agency uses white out to cover up names on top secret documents? If you believe this story, I have a bridge from Los Angeles to Australia to sell you!
as seen in the above posts...
maybe there's a little of the iraqi information minister, inside all of us?

i was kind of referring to the poster's in this thread, and not the specific and related news articles :P
i think its plausible that the news agencies did find something legitimate as they say
more plausible then the US military 'planting' evidence
but do i believe it? well, im gonna sit on the fence

But I tried to turn it around on you.

Originally posted by occrider I guess nobody's ever heard of the phrase the enemy of my enemy is my friend. If Al-queda and Saddam Hussein were such mortal enemies how come we never saw an attacks against Iraq? At any rate everybody says the US was going to plant WMD evidence but that hasn't happened, so now people are jumping on the the US is planting Al-Qeada evidence bandwagon. If you say the world renowned Iraqi intelligence service would never be so stupid as to use something like white out, why would you think that the CIA would be so stupid as to fake something as ridiculous as that??? Could it be that the Iraqi intelligence service is in actuallity the 3rd rate intelligence agency that it is? Nope of course not ... it's far more plausible for that bumbling document to originate from the bumbling CIA

Originally posted by cougar23 Actually, I heavily doubt the CIA would fake something like that. They already combed the building and didn't find anything. If they wanted the evidence so bad, the would have found (or planted) it the first time. I'd actually say the probability of the reporters making it up is higher than someone planting it, but if it was planted, it was probably someone linked to the defense department. After all, the CIA (as well as every other government agency) was at odds with the defense department over this war. If the CIA faked something like that, it would have looked much better, and the Iraqi intelligence wouldn't have used white-out that everyone knows can be scraped away. This was not the CIA, this was an amateur job like some reporters looking for a scoop of some dumb-assed military official. Besides, why would the CIA embarrass itself by planting evidence that they supposedly missed due to white out? This is too beneficial to the defense department for it to be CIA.
is there a difference between a country officially supporting Al-Qaeda and un-officially supporting it? I mean many of their operatives are from countries such as Yemen and Saudi Arabia that appear to be against terrorist actions in the public. I guess the finding of apparent "evidence" just gives the US more of an international justification for fighting the war on those grounds.
imagine if the whole world lived with a "pre-emptive" attitude? We could all go shoot our bosses before they fire us, or punch our neighbours before they spin on our lawns ...

Originally posted by Vesa As to the document, I'm yet undecided about whether to believe it's authentic. The recent false propaganda makes me rather suspicious (France hiding Baathists, France spying for Iraq, Russia sending anti-tank missiles to Iraq, Russia smuggling Baathists out of Iraq, Russia hiding Saddam). The potential connection between Saddam and Al-Qaida would not be nearly as unbelievable as any of the smear that the Neocons are now spreading against key European countries.
